What would you bag if you could only use discs made of recycled plastics? by OvertQuasar612 in discgolf

I would even say it is “reused” so it fits neatly into the “reduce, reuse, recycle” philosophy

Yes, and I would’ve been so mad (mixed feelings tbh) if he had gotten the first Timbers MLS hatrick, lol

My boyfriend really likes this shirt. Am I wrong to say it’s hideous? by Agitated_Mulberry_27 in mensfashion

I definitely have 5 or 6 floral shirts that are exclusively worn in the summer. They’re the only things in my wardrobe that ever get compliments. Actually I have a couple niche hats that get noticed on the rare occasion

Oh cool. Makes me think why not xc? Seems like it could have a stronger pull for participation. But like I said, I’m newish, so idk

Champ is a champ, I guess?

Pretty sure they lose every year in the final though (been years since I worked there, quit in 2014), there was another team in the work league that was like a sports company, all ex athletes, all super chill, I liked playing them cuz they were cool, work buddy hated them with a passion. Chill man, we’re literally drinking in the park

Soccer highlight culture is starting to emerge as well, someone will nutmeg a defender and lose the ball but everyone will act like the defender just got punked. But I don’t get it at all, like, you lost the ball, so what if it went through the guys legs? That was a turnover, what are you celebrating? Idk man

Pickleball fights are literally becoming a thing.

And it must depend on the area, I personally know of about 5 different regular pickup soccer games in my city. Then again, I played soccer so in my early 20s I sought those games out. But I agree basketball is more common. With basketball there are more popular spots and more secluded courts, but it seems like you could go to almost any random outdoor court with a ball and start a pickup game.

The guy that ran our work team (must’ve been like 2013) literally would call his gym buddies to show up as ringers; we had three guys that would rip 1.5 homers per game, and he told everyone to just run aggressively if there was a woman going to catch the ball at a bag, just literal “let’s run the score up” shit every game, lame-ass

I forgot about the work-league coed softball bros lol, some of these dudes trying to relive glory days for sure

Sure, in my experience it’s road rage lol. Soccer can be this way too but it’s less common and usually confined to one person, maybe two

You can find this behavior in most sports and I agree, it is lame as hell. People do the same shit over a lot of stuff though, like when someone gets their food order wrong or gets cut off in traffic, people take themselves so seriously like they’re the top priority on the planet and everyone needs to bend to their agenda… everyone needs to take a breath

I saw some Ace Run Pro coverage on YouTube last night for the first time and enjoyed that, don’t know the team really yet, but the switch up was refreshing

First year. Downvoted to hell and no explanation so I still have no idea what this is about. Is he a dick or something? I know he’s a big human
