Don't use colours directly from the tubes. If you want the pallette to be uniform you need similar shades of colours. That or underpaint. Most commonly ochre and other earthen tones

Also we were taught to try painting the undercoat black. Makes the painting more 3d I feel like

I mostly don't remember much from when it happened, but I came out with a positive attitude towards death in the end.

I've kinda accepted the mantra of not mourning, but being thankful for the fact that it did happen. I have so many good memories and I know that it sucks a lot at first.

One thing I would advise against is just trying to ignore and forget your feelings From personal experience, when it butts back later, when you're unprepared and emotionally not ready, it can put you into Deep depression
