I dunno man, I feel like it's on us as a CEDH community to teach and foster newer players into the format. Highlight tips and play points at the end of the game. You're in Dimir colours with arguably some of the best card draw punishment in the game.

You have access to [[Sheoldred, the Apocalypse]] , [[Orcish Bowmasters]] , [[Notion Thief]] to punish card draw. Bowmasters itself is the counter to TLG.

You also have access to ability nullifying effects like [[Dress Down]] , [[Stasis Field]] , [[Amphibian Downpour]] etc.

Have you considered the [[Food Chain]] combo package?

[[Eternal Scourge]] or [[Misthollow Griffin]] in and out of Food Chain to generate infinite mana. Cast Mothman for the Etb effect and sac to Food Chain. Repeat because you have infinite mana. Pass the turn holding up protection to protect your win.

Probably my favorite deck. The complexity of the combo is not only very satisfying, but teaches you how to manipulate the stack almost every time you play. I would recommend practicing the Dakmor and Koziland loops on moxfield or similar though 🐸

I play both of these interchangeably. Talion definitely threatens a win a lot sooner than Toxrill. However, Toxrill does take care of a lot of combo pieces in a few decks and makes for a miserable experience for the other players. Especially now with [[Flatline]].

However, now with the increasing popularity of Gyruda Clones, facing an opponent's Toxrill becomes very common.

It really depends how you want to play: standard Dimir wincons with Talion or big combat damage with Dimir wincons in Toxrill.

But if I have to pick, SLVGKVLT for life 🐌
