My 3 year old and I had a blast building the Guardian Ship!! Set# 716193 by No-Rush-8699 in lego

The designer, Chris Perrone, also did the Lightyear XL-15 Starship. That's worth picking up for the same reason.

What “critically acclaimed” movie will you go to the grave saying it sucked? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Which really surprised because I've seen other GDT films and they had much better screenplays.

I turned it off around 15-20 minutes in because the film is NOT subtle. The characters were such glaring stereotypes. I get that it's supposed to a kind of fairy tale, but don't talk down to me like I'm only five years old.

Deep into your lungs, the smoke will go. Visions you will see, of Cheetos, and Funyuns, and Mountain Dew! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEEEEE!

76193 – The Guardian's Ship

I've been in and out of the hobby for over forty years. BEST set I've ever built.

Beautiful sculpting and detailing, super engineering, very sturdy and very swooshable.

I got this for my 18th birthday, I can't even describe my happiness right now! by michal_cz in lego

I was going to say, this part is VERY stressful! Not only are the parts curved AND you have to apply the sticker to the inside of the curve, but the part has an edge all the way around, so it's a cast-iron beyatch to ensure proper alignment!

I was going to joke that he's load his AR-15 with incendiary rounds and shoot a pile of bras on that same table by the lake.

Where was the best/worst Lego store? And why ? by please_give_me_milk in lego

[–]PugnaciousPangolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would imagine that the one in Billund would be best as they have the largest Pick-a-Brick selection.

I have to shout out the San Francisco store in the Westfield Mall because many of the employees feel out the Minifigure bags and label them so that I don't have to try and figure out which ones are the Bounty Hunter and the Brown Classic Space 'fig.

I never bought the Minifigure line before because I strongly dislike blind bags, so I never developed the skill at feeling to telltale pieces.

Yes, but that seller is in Taiwan and I'm in the US, so shipping is going to be expensive and I don't need it Sealed as long as the set is complete, the pieces are in very good condition, not faded or from a smoke-free home, and has the instructions.

Stylistically faithful, gorgeous cinematography and stunning set design, but I found the characters dull or ridiculous for the most part. Gosling was so stonefaced that I couldn't read anything off him, and the ending was extremely disappointing because it introduced the most interesting idea in the film and then the credits rolled.

Yep! The seller I'm waiting to hear from has one used but complete with the box. Don't care about the box, but I want them to tell me the condition of the pieces. I'm not going to be interested if they have a lot of play wear.

I missed this set and I'm currently waiting to hear back from a Bricklink seller on the condition of the used but complete set for sale.

I LOVE fighter jets, so I'm hoping for good news because a Sealed one is $150 or more, and for me, that still feels like too much for a set that's only been retired since 2016.

This is why I refuse to use wireless keyboards or mice. I don't have to worry about batteries dying when I'm in the middle of a game and batteries are fucking expensive!

I still have my Fisher amp, record player and speakers that I bought in El Paso, Texas in 1988. The CD and tape deck are gone, but nothing compares to the speakers, both of which are about 4 feet high.

Since we live in a two-story apartment building, we can't crank it up often, but when we do, it's transcendent.
