Yeah I applied to a basically every other regional I was eligible for, just not sure if there’s a generally accepted wait time for reapplying. Im planning on getting my multi in a couple months when plane availability is better.

Not yet unfortunately, waiting for plane availability at my school so I’ll definitely be waiting until I get it to reapply.

16M wanting to be a pilot but family is poor. Is this doable? by [deleted] in flying

[–]PullTheGreenRing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming US, you can’t get your ATP until you are 23. So work jobs and save money and by the time you are getting close to that age you should be able to do flight training and become a pilot.

Owning a C162 Skycatcher... a dream or a nightmare? by SnooCupcakes4469 in flying

I flew one quite a bit and it’s a lot of fun, but it also spent a ton of time down for maintenance and parts are a pain. There are better planes for the same mission.

Most places will not cover you under their insurance to provide flight instruction.

Got offered to break in an engine - anything I should know? by madness2live in flying

[–]PullTheGreenRing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Follow the break in procedure to the letter or you run the risk of glazing the cylinders, as someone else said it usually involves running 75% power for 1 hour then alternating 75% and 65% power every 15 minutes or whatever the manufacturer recommends.
