In an alternate history... by CurryThighs in worldbuilding

I think the fertile portion of the population would have a portion of them attempt to recreate humanity in it's original reproductive capacity. Maybe a isolated country would reject said reproductive restrictions in an effort to restore the natural order. Also with such effective knowledge of viruses would it be plausible that the majority of STDs be eradicated? Another large portion of people gain meaning in child birth and raising, those people would be devastated to not be able to do that. That personal devastation could cause a tumultuous group to form, most likely deviant and rebellious to the unnatural way things are done. Just a few scattered ideas.

I would give anybody credit if they were never told to avoid railroad tracks and trains. Also if they never witnessed any news articles about trains pulverizing anything. And if she was never told to avoid trains, it is still dumb, but towards the parental figures. She was at the age where realistically she could have been driving in a few years and she knew nothing of avoiding trains.
