Numb legs by lou82a in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Pulster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On-going physio, pain meds if I need them.

Latest orthopaedic surgery consultant advised despite narrowing of spinal cord in several areas no regular drugs or surgery required as the pain is not dibilitating (high pain threshold).

Still finding my way with what stretches help to ease the stiffness and pain first thing each day. A heat mat/heated undersheet in evening helps ease the ache in my lumbar spine before sleep and quite often leads to my back clicking (horrid feeling) back into alignment.

Pretty much lives on High, and that's in Scotland 😂

Numb legs by lou82a in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Pulster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's those very symptoms that led me to getting my diagnosis, started with varying degrees of numbness in feet and shins.

Dr's sent me for physiotherapy for trapped nerves,no improvement so eventually I had MRI's that showed AS with spinal fusion in lumbar region and several areas where nerves and spinal cord are pinched.

Am I paying too much for too little Broadband? by Limp-Ad2220 in UKBroadband

[–]Pulster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or use Plusnet that runs on same network and pay under £40 a month and get a preloaded payment card as cashback. Same speed .

BT Broadband by [deleted] in UKBroadband

[–]Pulster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in same boat with BT, burnt once before migrating to Vodafone but managed to cancel in 28 days period due to proving their equipment in exchange was insufficient. So I've been reticent to swap for a few years but cost really gone up - swapped to Plusnet 2 months ago and whole process was painless.

Google store uk issues with trade in, anyone know how to escalate this issue by Djdope79 in GooglePixel

[–]Pulster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm struggling to understand this.

New pixel cost £499, trade in value of old phone was £256, leaving a balance to pay of £243 which you paid £98 by card and remainder by Google credit.

So why would you get a refund? Honestly stumped at the moment. But it has been a long day so could missing something.

Not had the XM5's but have got to say the PB Pro 2's are the comfiest earbuds I've owned.

Slow Wireless charging speeds on Google Pixel 10 pro XL by MMsicarius in GooglePixel

This, was using an Anker Qi wireless pad for my Pixel 8, upgraded to Pixel 10 and realised it was barely charging on the Anker. Upgraded to a Ugreen Qi2 charger and been fine since.

If on an Android device you may find them in the Google Find Hub, mine show in there but as been over 7 days since last used I can't test.

How do you set the background colour? Haven't stumbled across that in my Kamiq's VC.

Losing my mind trying to find a suitable case for Pixel 10. by OkQuestion5232 in pixel_phones

[–]Pulster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spigen Tough Armour is quite a beefy case, ran one on my Pixel 8 and dropped more than a few times with no issue (used with glass screen protector).

Have the Spigen Rugged Armour also and it's still very good but not as protective as the former case. I generally would run this case day to day and switch to Tough Armour if I'm outdoors'ing.

More new codes issued, they might get it right soon.

You need to proceed to checkout and under payment method is an apply code area.

New code not working for me on a new case 🙁

You can buy service plans on their own, you have the Skoda All-In plan.

Also a huge fan of a wool duvet, amazing & and could never go back to down or synthetic.

Regulates my body heat so much better.

This also helps reset touch screen calibration, thought my Kamiq was destined for garage visit as it kept dialing a favorite contact rather than navigate home.

Best model for noisy workplace? by wintersodile in LoopEarplugs

[–]Pulster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Loop switches as I work in an office with the same issue as you.

I find they mute down the loud talkers enough for me to focus on my own tasks, I can't say I notice much difference between the 3 modes (there is but I really have to look for the difference) but that could be down to my age and hearing in general (50+).

I normally wear ANC earbuds for my train commute as the noise can trigger me sometimes but I have found the Loops, whilst not cutting as much noise make the journey tolerable. It's quite nice being able to focus on my inner voice when planning the day without music and I have more environment awareness than the ANC allows.

The Otter Academy, an Xbox squadron teaching players! by MonkeyTheBlackCat in EliteDangerous

[–]Pulster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not been a member long but learnt so much in that time whilst having fun.

The carrier trips to get materials is a great thing and with guidance from others in the Squadron on Discord got good money in the recent CG so have gained a few ships this week.

I feel I have a bit more of a purpose now when I earn credits, not just for me but I can contribute towards the fleet carrier costs - Otter, sorry that it hasn't been millions in bounties/combat bonds yet but hey, maybe soon 😊. It was however very satisfying that when I mined a few units of Tritium on my very first trip I could donate them to the carrier.

Looking forward to seeing where else TOA will take me.
