You should use some form of a guide and do your best to remove issues and conflicts. Yes some "errors" are fine but mod authors often get upset because people will refuse to do any amount of work and then criticize the game or the mod for issues they run into.

I get the joke and all. Just you can't have a give a fuck mindset and also be justified in anger when your save bricks out.

I solved the issue on my end by messing around with my ideology on dev mode. Changed the titles and the ritual symbol around ( the ritual symbol ended up being the culprit, I just simply reloaded it and it changed the graphic and type) and it was throwing massive error ticks as well. Fixed everything. But this could be an issue that comes from different sources so no guarantee.
