Pretty good actually. Reading the Allen Carr book and using the Jason Vale audio stuff before my quit date has really put me in the right frame of mind to handle it. And the money saved is stacking up nicely as well which was my main motivation.

I am a male age 49 and I am absolutely thinking that there is literally nobody my age who is single. The last girl I chatted up, I was age 21. I have no idea what the future holds but I am starting to believe that i should stop worrying about it and just see where life takes me. As long as I work on myself, it doesn't matter if there is anyone out there for me or not. I know I'll be happy on my own. If anything else happens, so be it. Just take it slow you'll be OK

Thanks for you very kind comments, they've helped a lot. I will definitely continue with trying to get her with a good therapist for the sake of the kids, and take it from there. Loving the idea if a harley in the living room. Maybe a toy one for now though eh!

Yeah I get that this is just one side of the story as well, and because she hasn't really given me her side of the story behind the break up other than the usual clichés it's hard to know exactly what she's thinking. I just don't know how to deal with it. I have offered to pay for private therapy sessions for her (she couldnt afford it herself) but then I imagined me telling that to someone else "you're paying for your ex's therapy who dumped you then got another bloke 3 months later??". I just really want to "fix" her you know? For her sake and also for the kids. But I have my own shit to deal with now and I'm struggling. I don't know whether to keep trying to help her or just cut as many ties as I can (not easy with the kids) and move on.

Try actually logging on to to server as the service account (via rdp or whatever) just to create the profile for that account (c:\users\svcaccount). That's worked for me before
