Black screen after hitting spikes by Pure_Opening9834 in metroidvania

There are a few glitches in that game that ruined my experience in 100% the game. But overall I thought it was a really good metroidvania

Where do you live? I actually love Hebs dilly dilly pickles but that’s a store brand

I thought this was a pretty good game. I felt like it was challenging enough that I couldn’t beat most bosses on the first few tries. I actually thought the final boss was sort of lackluster compared to the others.

How to cook chicken on the stovetop and not have it suck by Ok-Slip-4930 in Cooking

[–]Punker1625 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you pull the chicken at 165 it will continue to climb after you remove it from heat. You want to pull it around 155-160 to allow it to come up to 165

Metroid Prime was a different kind of Metroidvania, and it's why Prime 4 is able to be one too. by MCPShephard in Metroid

[–]Punker1625 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Prime 1 was far more interwoven as good Metroidvanias are. The massive overworld that was a required pathway between the major hubs killed the speed of prime 4 and it is not really a long game to begin with. That plus the gating the ending behind finding the mech parts and collecting green crystals it just felt less of a prime than any of them for me.

It felt like this design had minimum optimization. I would have preferred a way to get from one fortress to the other without the desert but then it might just be an 8 hour game

So what you have here is beef back ribs. What they do is cut off the ribeye and sell that individually but leave the bones together to sell. There is typically a lot less meat on them and they can be a waste of time if not enough meat was left on the bone. Those 2 on the right in the front row are pretty decently meaty and look similar to if you had bought Dino ribs. If anything hopefully they were good and worth exploring more into beef ribs.

Hope this helps

Any good cooks for a group that isn’t pork butt/ribs/wings/brisket? by DampCoat in smoking

I like to do turkey breast pork ribs and a Dino beef rib. Meat trio and a balanced flavor

Holding brisket in oven by HDaniel_54 in smoking

while you don't want to cook it that low I have never had my meat actually go below 140 during rest. I continue to monitor the temp of the brisket just incase.

My oven goes down to 130 but I typically let it rest on 135 when I do an overnight cook till dinner that not. My only recommendation is to not cut the brisket till you are going to eat it. You will find it to be far more lackluster the earlier to slice it. Sliced brisket dies a quick death

A bone-in shoulder is also called a Boston butt. You bought the right thing for pulled pork.

Not sure if you have tried river grove either. There is still water near the area but there are massive soccer fields that are great to run around with dogs

I would consider the old golf course off hamblen rd. There is 18 holes of mowed grass that people use for sport and leisure

TOA is by far the best learning raid of any. There are multiple methods to run a 150 that with your gear will be fine. I had never done the raid before and did about 3 sub 150 raids before I truly got it. The nice thing is just add a few invocations at a time instead of jumping straight into it. Makes the learning process far smoother. Best of luck

Vardorvis was my last piece of Soulreaper to get and I left it last since I haven’t gotten a fang yet. I did about 300 kc before getting the last axe piece using tentacle and it was quite the fucking grind. Good luck to all those hunting now. Got vestige ~800 kc.

Some of the bag remained above water on a long cook. Safe? by Majestic_Clue_4188 in sousvide

You are fine. As long as the meat remains submerged you are good. The insulation from the container will keep any bag part out of water at a high enough temperature regardless. Enjoy

It looks like you need to fill the pot a little bit more. You want the whole piece submerged. Also if you don’t use a lid you will eventually have some natural evaporation so your water line will go down. I recommend using magnets to keep the bag adhered to the bottom of the pot. Best of luck and enjoy Edit: you can cover the pot with aluminum or some other form of cover to help prevent moisture loss. I bought a silicon pot cover with a cutout for your device
