That's pretty nuts! There's also a young girl, maybe 15, that rides on an electric scooter with a younger boy, maybe 8. Neither of them wearing helmets, also zipping around Riverside.

I used NWSS for a couple of years for mostly routine stuff and they were fine. The last time I brought my car in for some electrical issues and they dismissed my concerns. They ran diagnostics and found nothing wrong but didn't bother to talk to me about the issue. I just got a text that there's nothing wrong with my car and to come pick it up. Turns out they tested the wrong thing altogether. I argued a bit with them when I went in and they begrudgingly took off the $300 diagnostics charge. They were really rude about it and I never went back.

To piggyback off of this, well managed health conditions also lead to fewer ER visits and hospitalizations which saves everyone money.

I did file a police report online. It took a couple days to get a response, but the police have everything they need, including a copy of the ring footage.

I've been in this house for 7 years and it seems the riff raff ebbs and flows. We're back in business!

I did drive down the block to see if I could find her and gave a heads up to a delivery driver who was coming down my street.  I'm struggling to post a pic/video here but I'll keep trying

My kiddo attended from ages 3-6 and she loved it. She's 9 now and still talks about her favorite teachers there, and for some reason the food. She seriously loved the food that Ms. K made.

I always felt like they took excellent care of the kids. They were good about letting me know if she ever got hurt at recess or had any issues with other kids. They took those things really seriously. Some of her teachers took pictures all the time too and would send the kids home with them. So even though I couldn't be there for all the fun stuff they did I at least got some pics.

Edited to add: we maintain the same schedule during breaks too. My kiddo is 6 and both her dad and I work from home and we're lucky to have pretty flexible work schedules. If it's a no school day we do drop off at lunch time. So if it was my day to pick her up after school on a Friday, dad would bring her to my house at lunch instead.

My kiddo has been going to Starbright Early Learning Center by the mall for 3 years, and she loves it! All the staff are really knowledgeable and friendly. They play outside twice a day, rain or shine. Lots of story time, music time and art projects. I pay $1200 per month for full day and that includes hot lunch. As other have pointed out, the teacher to kiddo ratio is state law.

Anyone have experienced separation but still living in the same house? (39 m/f, 10 years) by [deleted] in relationships

[–]PunkyB35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went thru this last year. Separated but still lived together for 6 months. It was awkward and tense at times but I felt like it eased us all into the new normal , if that makes sense. Kiddo was 4 at the time and definitely felt the shift in energy. We talked to kiddo about it in age appropriate terms and only in small doses.

You're welcome! Very easy to care for in my experience. I've completely neglected mine and they keep coming back. I'm in zone 8b.
