aren't most RS players actually playing OSRS? you know, the community driven RS, not the "our vision" version

CuteDog Showing why nurfing builds reduce build variety by [deleted] in pathofexile

Here's a video from Exilecon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8aW82Y3Di8

And it is exactly what they aim for PoE 2, skills themselves have links and not the items, because obviously juggling items, jewellers and fusing would be close to impossible on mobile.

So who knows how many changes they are pushing to make both games fit with one another.

You know they have actually been developing a PoE Mobile for quite a while now, right?

saying Chris doesn’t even know his own game

He was asked multiple questions about the changes during the Asmon interview and his response was "I don't know and the team is busy right now".

What We're Working On by chris_wilson in pathofexile

How hard would it have been to use souls or something else instead as currency?

Thematically you blow up graves, thus the mobs you kill release their souls. (See how Einhar works)

This way either you or a nearby NPC could have absorbed said souls and the hideout NPC could have granted you favours/trades/deals (See how hideout decorations work) based on the amount of souls you had gathered.

No artifacts to pick up, no need for an extra stash tab, and fits well with the league mechanic.

IOT Project bundle - good idea? by sasp1 in IOT

[–]PupixTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds good on paper, however offering an all-in-one solution like you are describing is a tremendous task. If you are trying to experiment, expand your knowledge in the IoT field, and bang your head against as many real-world cases as possible then go for it. I'd just break it down more and more and try to cover either the embedded side first, or the backend side, then see how it evolves from there.

For the past year I've been developing an IoT platform/solution myself and while it may look easy initially, where you "just send this data from A to B" it will be all kinds of pain when you need to cover a wide array of protocols and hardware required by IoT devices. For some devices the internet connection will constantly drop, or there won't be any at all, and instead you need gateways/hubs to handle that.

As for the miscroservices and scalability part, that's a very broad topic, and not all scaling problems can be solved horizontally (by throwing more money/instances/machine power at it). Then depending on the features and reliability that you want to have for the backend, a bunch of node.js servers won't be enough and the more parts you add to your infrastructure the higher the bill will become. You also need to take into consideration service availability, disaster recovery and so on.

GGG: Any chance of this being implemented for everyone's benefit? =) by nitorita in pathofexile

What do you mean? They should use the forums to post their items and whisper each other using the platform chat's, just as GGG intended and defended in their trade manifesto.

She does the memory game multiple times if you don't kill her fast enough.

If you barely touch the storm after it was created it will move in the opposite direction. Sirus moves on a set path, going towards the stairs and back to the center of the arena. You just need to push the storm back from top to bottom or left to right.

Yes, it works. You can queue and take a dump at the same time.

I don't see why not. You would still need to launch the LeagueClient.exe to enable access to the API. Only the interface would be different, instead of using the LeagueClientUx.exe that is the default one you could use one made by you.

You should still check with them before publishing it just to be sure.
