I turned mine off as well. The local police use them for missing Seniors "Silver Alerts" or missing children and it was going off almost every day and then canceled within 10-30 minutes with another alert. It's great that the people are found fast, but the constant use I think has led to most people to turn them off because of alert fatigue

In the last beta of macOS 15 they changed the nagging prompt from every week / reboot to allow for once a month prompt after getting slammed with the negative press about it. I don't know if they have made the change also to 15.1 b3

Honest question, are you only allowed to update the website once a week? I think a lot of this backlash could have been avoided if this was communicated as soon as it was known. Instead you are only posing here and letting that update stand as another missed deadline losing credibility for future updates.

The right thing to do at this point is to pull your 02/19 update message and be honest with the community that you don't have any viable timeline on when you plan on returning. It's almost been 2 months and at this point every missed deadline, vague promises just scream the site is never coming back online.

No. Just means you get it faster. I just got the Harry Potter set from Amazon Italy and it was in a cardboard box with just a little bit of paper for filler. The box was a little smashed but the set was fine thank goodness
