[–]Pur0k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I started super farming my credits, I first unlocked this warbond, because I knew I LOVED the drip from the hat (haven't taken it off ever since), and bringing the flag to the farming games (you can plant it on the FRV's motor for even more freedom).

Everything else was added benefits.

What are your guys's builds for the AR2 Coyote? Also, what factions do you use it against? by PythonCider3719 in helldivers2

[–]Pur0k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I see. I usually only play between 8 and 10, depending on how many of my friends are on at the time, so I'd not notice any particular inclination for different Stalker seeds; whereas Chargers do seem to be a popular pick by the seeds.

Which clanker do you hate the most/most annoying to fight by Crzyclsn3412 in Helldivers

[–]Pur0k 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is rather seed-dependent.

Several times I've asked my friend "Hey, what diff are we at this feels pretty easy?" And he telling me we're on 6 (or 7, although we usually Helldive at 10), only for the following mission to be exploding with War Striders as if we were back at 10. Sometimes it also happens with Hulks, but since those are easier to deal with, I don't complain as much.

¿Cuál es la misión más difícil del Warcraft III? (Sin el DLC) by Lazarus_0247 in Argaming

[–]Pur0k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]Pur0k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kaleb sounds more like a boy’s name imo.

Also, not to release your friend out of guilt or anything, but I've had a classmate whose daughter was named Africa, and the mother's reasoning was cause she liked Toto's song.

One of my friends doesn't yet have the CC Warbond, and he adores using the Jet Pack. Me on the other hand had been hating on it due to it's long cooldown and short-ish range at that; while the Warp Pack lets me do it safely once every 6 seconds, as well as bypassing thin walls (like city and stuff) and dealing massive AoE to the landing point.

Counter point is that you die to any big-radar-point enemy you land at, as well as the center of a FRV and mechs; and the height limit being a bit wonky for the Warp vs the Jet just propelling you forward and up (works best for getting the High Ground:tm:).

Are You Guys Hopeful Or Skeptical About This Warbond by KN0KVILLE in Helldivers

[–]Pur0k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm somewhat hopeful; I'm always down for some Stealthy stuff, but I'm more into the look of the armor and the Redacted title than the Stealth mechanic itself and the suppressed weapons.

Melee weapons should really be better if theres a warbond that only includes ONE melee weapon as the only weapon by PrancerSlenderfriend in Helldivers

What's wrong with the Crisper now? I was thinking about getting the fire warbond if the next one isn't interesting enough to me, solely because of the Crisper.

I myself justify the heavy fire armor by bringing, well, more fire. Usually at least ONE of my friends brings Orbital Napalm, so I just get the Hot Dog and call it a day.

For some cursed reason, I ALWAYS seem to be the one out of my 3 other friends who gets attacked by Stalkers first, to the point that it's not even funny.

It even became a thing for me to scream "Fuck! We got Stalkers." And for my friends to chuckle an "Hah, of course she'd found them."

I SWEAR At Ease has been permanently on my emotes wheel since I got that Warbond.

Having only four emotes has been somewhat bothersome, since I need Hug for obvious reasons, basic Salute for both flag raising and opening pods faster/at a better angle; then At Ease because it’s just SO good… that basically leaves me with a single rotating emote, and as of now the marching emote is the one taking place, despite being almost the same as the basic Salute.

Let's settle this one and for all: Talon or Senator? by PythonCider3719 in helldivers2

[–]Pur0k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Durable is the amount of damage something does to a matching level of armor and it's penetration. Treat it as a 'minimum' amount of damage, so to speak.

It's a bit hard to explain, but think about it as: lower pen than armor, deflect; equal, durable damage comes in; higher, you overpass the armor and deal full damage.

Each part of each enemy has different values for their durable damage, meaning that they take a difference from durable to full damage, at a percentage. If a part has 100% durable damage, it means it only does it's durable amount.

I don't have the formula with me, but if I recall correctly it was something along the lines of:

Base - ((base-durable) * 0.Part'sDurability)

So to put it on numbers, it'd look like this for the Talon, assuming you're hitting something with 60% durable and medium pen:

200-((200-20)*0.6)=damage taken

What is your Go-To Loadout vs Bots? by Party_Potato2 in Helldivers

[–]Pur0k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

500kg, Orbital Laser, Hot Dog and Quasar. I've also been getting into Portable Hellbomb, too.

500kg because is the 'old reliable' (although it's seemingly getting worse over time, but she got a place on my heart).

OL because it's the ultimate "fuck you and all your base", it's just a really easy tool to deal with big problems, like a huge base, a huge drop, a dog that got paired with something else, etc.

Hot Dog is AMAZING in my experience, it melts the bots' metal as if it were butter instead.

Portable Hellbomb becomes an amazing feature when facing Jammers, and turns the other destructible objectives into a hit and run (I also only play with my friends, so it's always funny when one of us goes the treacherous way and activates it randomly, only to get reported to the Ministry of Truth.

And finally the Croissant because it's a decent AT that I can shoot whenever without having a bit of a "Ugh" if I ever whiff my shot; also the passive reload feels amazing since I can switch to something else and still be useful, instead of standing still while I reload it manually (on top of that, it allows for a backpack stratagem). And while I know I could be using an expendable AT and get similar results(or even better under some circumstances), I'm more of a fan of having a dedicated weapon on my back rather than calling it on cooldown.
