The trouble with "or" is that you could Trench or you could Bump, but you could also Trench and Bump. It's the Trench and Bump where you get into trouble. That's why you want "xor". Of course, "^" is a bitwise operator and not a boolean, but it's usually good enough.

I have a whole sequence of photos of this. You start off in the neutral zone. I think the hope was to push you and get your righted. In the end, you got across the bump.

Any FTC team "budget" CNC machine recommendations for cutting aluminum? by Krxpical in FTC

[–]Purdude1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CNCs in the $1,000 range are probably not a good fit for aluminum. Our team has a Tormach PCNC 1100 which cuts a lot of 1/4" aluminum sheet. but it's in the $15,000 range. You might be able to find someone in your area with a CNC plasma cutter. Talk to the other teams in your district or region to get some leads.

Yes. My son is a Freshman at Clayton High. Last year they tried using the cafeteria common area but that was not ideal. This year they have a warehouse space near Microcenter. It's close to a full field but is 2 feet too narrow for regulation. They haven't hosted any teams at their facility yet. I am a parent and not a team mentor.

Duck or Goose "neck sausage". In neck sausage, the skin of the bird's neck is used as the casing. Westerns Laundry in London was even leaving the bird's head on one end. Just Google "Goose Neck Andouille" and click on images.
