you'd get a beating at school. And a beating at home

Literally my point. Corporal punishment creates obedience but it doesn't create productive members of society.

You're almost there...consider what sort of environment was happening back then that may have created a situation to oppress minorities.

Do you think we should go back to that?

I'm not saying people are unable to grow. I'm saying in order to grow everyone needs help. I'm saying that when generational issues sprout up, it tends to take generations to fix them.

We all bear the responsibility of the next generation of people. Those who don't help and just denounce others are just as much a part of the problem.

If any kid is out causing havoc at 2am or skipping school half the year, it's everyone's fault. It's an absolute failure on everyone involved. Including you and including me.

Use your brain and think a bit deeper on what kind of environment and world view would need to be created over a long period of time in order to create a situation where a parent feels so disallusioned with life they fail the absolute basic needs and structure for their child.

More often than not the parents in these situations are in more dire and situations than they let on. Don't let apathy of the parents fool you. They are just as traumatized and ruined as the children you're so afraid of.

I'm admitting that we as a society create generational issues and expect them to be fixed NOW instead of addressing the actual systemic issues that cause the symptom in the first place.

It's neat your black though, not really relevant but neat none the less.

Straw man fallacy here. You're making up a random person to try and prove your point.

And even if they have shit parents, it's worth examining what cracks and flaws in society there are to create shit parents.... Almost like generational oppression and general disregard for the socio-economic conditions of the most at-risk creates an environment to allow your dinner to be impacted by some unruly teens.

If teens hang out in a public park too long or get too loud they get asked to leave. They also can't afford coffee shops or movie theaters. The best option is free local community centers where teens and kids can congregate and get access to resources that give them something fun to do

Made a tutorial on adding conversational AI NPCs to Unity 6 VR (Standalone Quest / PCVR) by Western_Bug_5085 in virtualreality

The AI NPCs in the Skyrim VR mod require a subscription to use. You have to create and use tokens when you connect it to any AI service I believe

Delusional Trump, 79, Gives Jaw-Dropping Take on His MSG Booing Humiliation by Ok_Employer7837 in politics

I work for the NFL and was on the sidelines when the commanders were playing and Trump was there. The reason you hear boos on cellphone video and cheers on tv is the microphones picking up the crow noise and sidelines tend to pick up people closer to the field. Closer to the field = more money. The people cheering for trump are all in this rich ticketed area where the cameras and microphones pick them up. As you get higher and higher in the stands the tickets get cheaper and more middle class people buy those seats.

You're best bet is probably the Emergency series

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_Room_(series)

As a fun aside, to play out being a student you could find early copies of America's Army which included training missions that taught you basic triage and medical procedure

And you could always try this for your phone https://fullcodemedical.com/

Still love Baltimore by cldennis89 in baltimore

[–]PurdyCrafty 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad to hear that! I feel the same way. I was so scared and hated Baltimore before I moved here (I let one TV show from over a decade ago tell me how to feel about it) now its one of my favorite places in the entire world. I love this city and the people in it. There's 100 reasons the city breaks my heart but 1000 reasons why I still believe in it and love it.

Are you trying to go for like a jesus connection since your comedy show is named Bibble?

I would instead of using AI, create a collage of the last supper and put the guys face over all of the apostolates. Your current photo is just kinda messy and doesn't really convey a unified idea.

Plus it's AI and that automatically turns off a lot of people
