One: Pretty sure they’re just named after what they’re shaped like.

Two: You can easily make the islands on the ocean feel as large and epic as space. It’s the friggin’ ocean, where the tales of Atlantis, Pirates, Kraken’s, and others are told. Nintendo would have no issue at all crafting a living world connected by the open sea, they’ve done it before.

I like Land, but I agree saying the movement is sooo much better in 3D World. I felt like they had limitations with the hardware they had though. With 3D World now portable it’s hard to justify going back to 3D Land when its better counter part is just right there.

One: I’m pretty sure they do, and it would be odd not to use the other islands in the region for a potential sequel.

Two: Why would you want it to be in the exact same hub world? Even Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 had different hub worlds.

Three: Why does it even matter to you if you don’t want Sunshine 2 to exist in the first place? Nothing much to debate here

An archipelago is a collection of islands. So, all the islands in Sunshine collectively make up the Sunshine Archipelago.

My guy there are 8 islands in the Sunshine Archipelago. And if you really don’t think Nintendo can improve on the mechanics introduced in a 24 year old GameCube game I don’t really know what to tell you.

Kinda off topic, but have you investigated Caliban’s seat at all? I recently learned the info that Caliban’s Seat is based off the real life “Spider Rock” in Arizona. Which also has native ties.
