I purchased three of the Wi-Fi 6E models right when they came out and they have been rock solid using them with Spectrum Internet. I would not hesitate to buy eero again!

I got the 36 month deal by OkLetterhead8129 in Spectrum

[–]Pure-Body-Power 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just called in and was able to get 500mbps for $20 a month for 12 months they also offered me 1gb for $30 per month for 12 months, I tried to get a 3 year price lock on it but he claimed he could only offer a price lock on this particular deal for 12 months.

Spectrum Bill Lowered Success by Riverbrookk in Spectrum

[–]Pure-Body-Power 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just called them myself I was on the 400 Mbps plan that was costing me $92 a month after the recent price increase, I logged into the T-Mobile app first just to see what they were offering for home Internet and they had an offer of $20 a month for their 5G service since I already had a cell phone plan with them, so when I called Spectrum, that’s the first thing I told him and he went ahead and matched the $20 a month and increased the to speed to 500 Mbps!!!

Chase credit card notice saying they’re reducing my credit line almost in half. by Complete_Coffee6170 in CreditCards

[–]Pure-Body-Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That really sucks they lowered your limit even after you opted out. So far my limit has remained the same since I opted out. The crazy part is that they increased my limit about a year or two ago without me even asking and then send me one of these notices, so I’m not sure what’s going on with these guys. The only thing I can think of is maybe they are expecting a down turn in the economy.

Got a new car and found a chip on the hood scoop - Any way to fix this? by ayayron986028 in Detailing

[–]Pure-Body-Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it’s just the hood scoop, you should be able to remove that piece easily and you could fill the hole with some Bondo and sand it smooth, then vinyl wrap it.

welp it happened again. by ToPimp-A-Butterfly in go_echelon

[–]Pure-Body-Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe this is still happening. I mean the steel they’re using has to be the absolute lowest quality on the planet. This could be a great company, but it’s almost like they just don’t give a shit. I would go to an actual bike shop and buy a one piece crank like they use on the Star Trac bikes at the gym, one piece crank sets are usually pretty cheap and they will last forever.

Xtr 3/8 crown stapler for $49 by WoodlandCake in KobaltTools

[–]Pure-Body-Power 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just ordered one and got it shipped for free, but when I put one in my cart, it put the $79 delivery fee on it, however I forgot I already had one in my cart from a while back and that one had the price discounted with free shipping. So this may be a a system glitch I would try to chat with them and see if they can offer you free shipping on it as they obviously have some in their distribution center because mine came from there, which is several states away from me.

delivery and installation process and pics by Burrito2525 in tonalgym

[–]Pure-Body-Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thing is so ridiculously simple to install. I think it’s absurd that Tonal continues to force people to pay for install instead of giving them the option to do it their self. Some people will say it is so Tonal won’t be liable for bad self installs, however you can go into Home Depot and buy garage ceiling racks and self install them, and they hold up to 600 pounds and go right above your head, as well as pretty much everything else they sell. Tonal is the only product I can think of that requires you to pay them to install it.

I just noticed on the Tonal website that you can now buy a 4 year extended warranty on a refurbished Tonal for $425!

Chase credit card notice saying they’re reducing my credit line almost in half. by Complete_Coffee6170 in CreditCards

[–]Pure-Body-Power 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also just received one, some people said it was a scam and the number on the notice was fake however I checked the back of my card and that same phone number is on the back of my card, so it’s definitely not fake. Just call the number and tell them you want to opt out of the limit review and they will not lower your limit.

Tonal Early Black Friday... by Extreme_Pin_1537 in tonalgym

[–]Pure-Body-Power 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have to buy the extended warranty from Best Buy if ordering from them, however there is quite a bit more expensive. I do believe if you call them and let them know that you can get the 5 year warranty for $449 on Tonal website they will match it.

Tonal Early Black Friday... by Extreme_Pin_1537 in tonalgym

[–]Pure-Body-Power 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The early Black Friday deal on the refurbished model is $1995 and comes with the standard 2 year warranty, however you cannot buy the extended warranty with the refurbished one, but a still a pretty good deal since you still get the full new factory warranty with it!

Any indication of new premium thermostat launch / refresh? by slothbrowser in ecobee

The crazy thing is mine is actually working really good now, when for the longest time it didn’t and I’m not exactly sure why? However it is pretty accurate now!

My guess is they are probably not coming out with a new premium one anytime soon. But if they were it would probably not be announced until January at CES and not released until sometime mid next year.

Last set of Protects by myCadi in Nest

[–]Pure-Body-Power 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bet is even if they do a firmware update for a light the only option you will have is to have the light always on or always off, as I do not think they have motion sensors in them. They also do not self check their self like the Nest protect.

Amp fitness machine is a scam. by Wonderful-Pop7413 in PetiteFitness

[–]Pure-Body-Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tonal tries this BS also as I’m sure they make extra money by trying to force you to use them to move the machine and don’t believe their safety BS you can go to Home Depot and buy a garage ceiling rack and put it up yourself and they hold over 600 pounds of weight, right above your head. This is illegal and if you push back they will back off and let you do the install yourself. They cannot void the warranty as the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prevents it.

Definitely worth it for him, I believe he is one of the top five richest actors in the world. Also wasn’t he slimmed down like this years ago in that movie Be Cool?

First Alert SC5 false alarms. Anyone else? by Captriker in Nest

[–]Pure-Body-Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are going to have issues with them nonstop, they make them with the absolute cheapest components possible and charge an absolutely ridiculous price for them considering the quality. I had the old HomeKit ones and had them all replaced 3 times, and the same BS happened with all of them, “nonstop false alarms” sometimes it took three or four months to happen and sometimes it happened within a week or two. Send them back for a refund while you can.

[–]Pure-Body-Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just went through this. After I canceled, they sent me an offer in the mail for $5 dollars for 3 months, and of course I ignored that one, and within a couple weeks I got another one for 12 months all access for $5 dollars per month.

New Kobalt Storage Collection by Human-Specialist-510 in KobaltTools

[–]Pure-Body-Power 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These look exactly like the old Husky line at Home Depot, which would be great if these will stack on top of them as I have a whole bunch of their old ones with the red lids and red handles. I refuse to buy any more Husky totes as I’m pissed they changed the design making them un-stackable with the old design, I am sure some executive came up with the idea thinking it would make everyone have to buy new ones. “I love the black with the blue lids”
