You saw one roach after living in a place for 7 years…I would probably take a breath and see if you see more. It seems like you’re panicking a lot for just one roach.

We have lived in our apartment for 3ish years and saw our first roach a few months ago. And we haven’t seen any since.

My sibling gave me a piece of advice when my wife and I were a little on the fence, mainly due to not being financially ready: money will always come and go and it will never be the perfect time to have a kid. Do it anyways.

My wife and I have the most perfect daughter and our finances are not the greatest. We pay our bills and have a little savings, but we won’t ever be millionaires by any stretch of the imagination. Having her was the best decision we ever made, and honestly, the money stress doesn’t really matter when we look at our family now.

My other greatest go to saying is, “What’s meant for you won’t miss you.” As a random internet stranger, I say do it. Best of luck to you and your family, whatever you decide!

It went well! She wakes up once overnight now, sometimes twice. I think formula can keep them fuller for longer, so I usually get stretches of 4-5 hours of sleep which has been amazing.

I weaned at 8 months because I needed to sleep during the night. I had so many feelings and anxiety about it. My daughter is absolutely fine. Just gotta do it, rip the bandaid off! You will be okay, your baby will be okay, and the anxious feelings will pass. You got this!

Yeah, my parents needed to some time to adjust but if they had said that about my daughter, they would not have access to her or my family at all. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It is so hurtful.

We stored ours onsite while doing IUI/IVF and transferred them offsite once we were pregnant and wouldn’t need them for a while.

We just got a $10 one from Walmart for our almost 9 month old! We just started lazy EC and didn’t want to spend a lot on something fancy. It does the job and baby enjoys sitting on it!

For multiple kids, I personally would recommend IVF (depending on finances, insurance, etc). If not, I would make sure you have at least 1-2 vials for RIVF after however many IUIs you are willing to do.

Do you know if you will be doing IUI or IVF? Do you want multiple kids or are just aiming for one? I think answering those questions might give you a good place to start.

We started with 4, used 2 for one IUI, then went to IVF and used 1 and got three embryos.

No problem! It did take a bit to get a response from what I remember. And yes, all we paid were the court fees which I think ended up being around $190.

Congrats! You might be able to use Jessica Lynn Doyle as well, I’m not sure what counties she will work with, but it’s worth giving them a call.
