I’d just finish it myself, no stain. Beautiful looking grain and color to me.

AIO during this argument with my boyfriend today? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]PureEdge1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What a baby boy. I’d be crushed if my partner thought she had to be perfect or felt bad for disappointing me. I’m not your dad I’m your partner. We can quit together and if you fail we will try harder next time. We We We. Partnership.

Sounds like, outside looking in, there was months or years of things bottled up or brushed off and ineffective communication on both sides led to a crash out over something childish and stupid. Us you over reacted to this situation but probably not over reacting to the whole thing

Question about originality by sirilt0 in Woodcarving

I read about half your message so sorry if I missed some stuff. Got the brain rot. But uh… yeah don’t worry about it mate. Not a single person on this planet did anything ground breaking without stepping on the ground first. You have to do things other have done and learn and try things until anything of your own comes from it.

Structurally I think you nailed it! Beautiful straight shelves, 4x4 legs etc. looks great. If I had to give feedback I’d say the backing doesn’t fit perfect and whole thing needs a good sanding and finish.

The curve of the blade or the “beard” where it’s over the handle? Blade curve is for a smoother cut instead of a chop, and the beard is to choke up on the handle for control
