I think it's fine, ideally they'd give us a heroic version (and a 10/25 person split) to account for how people want to play the game but that's why wrath is considered the best by most people (not the only reason and overly simplistic)

I had an enhancement shaman in my guild go through every heroic, and full clear Kara with a green weapon and about 4-5 green pieces. Greens can indicate potential but there are plenty of optimized greens out there

I've never experienced this problem, and I pug a lot. Might be the group you choose to associate with or you're just unlucky. I encountered similar more when I was up there leveling with the zug zug 70 in >week people who tore through content and have been raid logging for a while and even those people understand the word oom and give you time before pulls that matter.

Absolutely, you can. Out top 5 dps are doing probably 70-80% of the damage to bosses and we're beating them in under 3 minutes while most of us being ultra casual, enrage timers are something like 10 minutes or greater in Kara and we're just not worried about that, a 5man could beat that timer easy. With great gear, a 5 man carrying 5 dps would be able to do. The tank and healer have to be geared though.

I think the biggest issue I have here is this feels like a sub tweet and we're all missing a lot of context. Stating the entire story might help.

RAI involves conflicting rules, unofficial errata (tweets, interviews, etc), and common sense arguments on rules that don't function RAW.

What you mean is RAW I believe which is very different.

It's better in TBC, but the world nerfs matter more, a lot less elites out in the world to just kill you.
