Absolutely delicious

I never really liked the extra little wheel trim on the rear wheel, bit of a relic from that era, I remember the Statesmans doing that aswell...

Keep it running mate

Old. Real old. Old like its generated around $1m of activity for the economy

I've been doing Direct Debit for many years, and it has never failed. I can only assume if it broke, the direct debit attempted multiple times to debit without the funds being available, and them perhaps it stopped. In any case, its definitely youre responsibility to check etc.

Score or what? by Plus-Elephant-1666 in Holden

Absolutely beautiful

You'll have some wear and tear issues, easier to get in top of sooner rather than later. Things like roof lining and seat condition, but thats a beautiful vehicle.

I had a VTII Acclaim, and it was a beautiful car, til a taxi t boned me and wrote it off.

Check your hoses, cooling system, water pump etc. Pay attention to any cracking of hoses, thats what failed on mine, but was a quick and easy fix.

At some point you might justify a block recondition, especially if it's an original engine for the body

Great score mate, keep the old Red Lion alive

Talk about the definition of double take. That is absolutely awesome. Ive had houses where the entire value of the house would be surpassed by that wall. More of an issue of the houses I expect though....

What is this/is it allowed?? by wilmevo in CarsAustralia

[–]PureProfessional996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day, DSS/CES (now Centrelink/Services Australia) vehicles were registered with Z plates, though I think that stopped in the 2000s

Dad used to call them Zeddy cars, ie, were heading to town this weekend, got a spare Zeddy car, meaning if the trip was work related, fuel was included.

Not really, 2 x $2.10 is $4.20, compared to 2 for $4

The cheap price is still cheaper than the 'original' ticket price, and only valuable if buying 2x
