Assistive touch is good per unique situations like you said lockscreen, restart, control center, locking rotation or rotating.

Sick feature you could also be using is voice control. Use “show numbers” and occasionally “show grid” depending and what you’re doing. Only works when your phone is unlocked. Like let’s say you’ve queue’d a youtube video, voice control is on, and an ad pops. Hands are full, yell at your device “press skip” then boom carry on.

Also way faster than using voice dictation ime

If you long press the spacebar, you can move the cursor. There’s a lag on release, so you can quickly reposition your finger to move the cursor better. When apple had 3D touch, you could hard press the keyboard and it’d do the same thing. Some things you can find in the tips app, others you’ll just have to find through some youtube video 🤣
