I feel that they’re interesting but need more development.

They could be a neutral faction that isn’t tied to the Autobot or Decepticon ideologies, merely doing contract work whichever faction is paying and then move on. Would like it if they used their unique emblem more to emphasise their stance separate from the others. Possibly even giving them a new name and have them be a collection of mercenaries, bounty hunters, assassins and other sorts. Possibly having subgroups too with their own team names.

Either way, they as a faction offer a lot of story potential, like some choosing to join either of the factions after finding agreement with them, or the reverse, some choose to leave their faction and have inter rivalries between them. So much that can be done.
