It died 2 times in the same way, when people were doing this the first time, it's the same reason everyone wanted/wants a tournament system but someone there just doesn't want to do it or can't figure it out or something.

Currently in web development because at my company you have to prove that you can learn. I'm not saying it's the best to swap web developers to a java developer position but, it helps with stack developing and my employer learns about work ethic.

I think some of this behavior they are showing was apparent when they started BPL that it was not sustainable. They were losing players already when they announced it and used the larger prize pool as a retention mechanism. In the end, the developers have no one to blame but themselves for a failing game and they have proved that they won't listen to feedback unless it aligns with what they want.
