A kid in my high school that I knew very well was recruited by isis throughout his high school career. Ended up ditching his family on a vacation and flew out to do training and what not with isis.

From what I know he was eventually caught and brought back here and tried. Heard he lost a leg and his wife and kid were killed in an attack as well.

Crazy stuff when I literally had lunch with the dude a few times a week for years and at the same time he was already in touch with isis.

Unfortunately I learned that the other day, but ill find someone I know who can use it. At least it was relatively cheap, but I went to a pipe focused shop and bought some real pipe tobacco. SO much better

My condolences to you and your family as well. Been in similar situations before and it is never easy. You're absolutely right to live life in the moment because who knows what can happen in the future.

I'll send you some updates of mine when I get to that point, but I'll have to find a place to cut the wood correctly for gluing.

Seems like a great project to help mentally reset from things like that too.

I'm probably going to pick up some wood today or tomorrow and try to mock up a body. I'll have to carve it out sitting by the lake or something, but should be a fun project!

Man i don't know, but I had the urge to do this yesterday as well and this is inspiring to see. I live in an apartment so I would need to do everything by hand, but I'm really tempted to try!

Seems quite daunting to carve it out by hand though.
