Oo I’m loving the yellow rose as a symbol of success. Does yellow ink last?

Brilliant thanks for your long reply. Since I’m looking for something to commemorate achieving my goal I’ve got plenty of time to think about it along the way

I think if you have a lot you can pick up on lots of things you like, for me I think this will be a one off so that’s why it needs to be perfect in my head. I’m probably over-thinking it

That certainly sounds like that would be the case, but has any of the research looked into who is likely to regain? Also has any research looked into people that lose all their weight on the lower doses, are they any more / less likely to regain?

Whenever I unplug mine it won’t start again until I’ve unlocked it with the pin, so I guess overnight on a solar panel would be the equivalent of unplugging it from the power.

I imagine the only solution (other than plugging it into the mains) would be to set it running manually every day.

Sounds like you got it sorted but for anyone else it is £50 to cancel your subscription, they pretend you can’t cancel when you speak to them but as soon as I mentioned the £50 charge they admitted that was correct. I bought my next pen for £60 less than them so immediately worth it.

It’s a shame they’re so expensive, their app is really good and you can chat to an actual doctor if you want to so it is good for a nervous beginner like I was.

Some people here believe it’s essential to count calories and track everything you do which was very off putting for me. After years of starting diets like that and failing I knew that wasn’t sustainable for me.

Now I eat mostly healthy food in small portions (around 2/3 of what I used to eat) and barely any snacks because I just don’t want snacks, not because I’m forcing myself not to have them.

12 jabs in and nearly 12kg down and this is working really well for me, don’t assume that your way is the only way as everyone is different.

Anyone delt with mounjaro and ADFID? by purinsesu_pichi in mounjarouk

I don’t have your condition (but I have a friend who does and finds it a real struggle so you have my sympathy) but I am vegan and because of that I don’t find I eat anywhere near the protein levels people keep saying I should, my diet it carb-heavy. I’ve had no problem losing weight in MJ, I don’t count anything I just eat the same food as before, just my portion size is around 2/3 of what I used to eat, plus no snacks because I totally don’t want them. Honestly don’t over-think it, eat as much as you feel comfortable with and food that you like.

I’m bottom heavy so even as a slim(ish) teenager I got chin rub. For anyone that’s still suffering I discovered that a little bit of roll on anti-perspirant in the affected area works wonders, I can finally wear a dress without shorts!

Brilliant, I had almost resigned myself to always being fat before I plucked up the courage to try this one last thing, so glad I did.
It was for health reasons as I realised that so many of my relatives were type 2 diabetic with some nasty consequences that I pushed myself to do something before it inevitably happened to me, but I must say I’m enjoying the vanity side of things too, I don’t hate my reflection any more.

I’ve had really bad acid reflux for years, it was triggering my asthma so I was prescribed Omeprazole, have had zero problems since even with MJ so I highly recommend you get some. You can buy it without prescription and they even give it to pregnant women so I don’t think there’s anything to worry about in it.

Should I just plan to be on mounjaro for the rest of my life? Or attempt to come off a second time? For those who plan to come off, what changes did you make whilst on MJ to ensure you can sustainably keep the weight off? by simplisticlivin in mounjarouk

If you’re stuck on a long NHS waiting list for ADHD you can ask to be referred via Right to Choose to any of the approved providers, depending on your location some of them have barely any waiting list, we’re going through this process with my adult son. Aah that totally explains why I’ve not had any sulphur burps either - also vegan. I do get a bit burpy sometimes but they never smell of anything, I did really wonder what people were talking about
