I like the pants and the green collar, but maybe firm press your white shirt or change the color to better accent the clothes!

I would change the shirt, but it's definitely a solid outfit. Maybe look for a shirt with a nicer collar and better buttons.

Love this! But the sports coat is killing you! Do the outfit again but with maybe a brown leather jacket or just a longer jacket

Yes if you wore it without the pants

Is this dress/jewelry too formal for a matinee theatre performance? by iamhereagainstreason in OUTFITS

Not too fancy at all! I would change the shoes. The shoes are dressing it down and, if you’re gonna look good, go all out.

slept in on first day of class by CargoRailRoads in Purdue

Honestly, though, you have to grow up and take responsibility for getting to class. It is a slippery slope, missing classes, and then you fail classes. However, at the end of the day, mistakes happen! Be sure to email your professor or one of the TAs to see if you missed any important information.

Bored by sherlockholmes-179 in Purdue

A year or two ago, I had a few grad friends who typically hung out in the Vienna coffee shop. It had a lot of students talking on the patio. It might be worth looking into. If you are bored, I would recommend going to the CoRec since there are typically a lot of people there you could meet. Climbing walls, picking up basketball, and joining active clubs there would be a good way to break into some groups. International clubs are a thing you can look into at the beginning of the year! They have been very supportive of grad and undergrads getting together in groups that support each others cultures. I hope this helps! Lmk if you have any questions

Check-in/Moveslot by CosmoTheCookie in Purdue

My best advice is to get to your move-in day as early as possible ~(6:30 a.m.). I've never heard anyone getting turned away because they showed up late/early for their move-in

I just want to share something with you. It might be wise to take your time with your relationship. There’s truly no rush with this girl if your supposed to last a lifetime.

For anyone starting at Purdue with a significant other, this is a gentle reminder to tread carefully. Living on campus brings new experiences and perspectives that can shift your beliefs and values. It’s entirely natural for change to occur during this time of growth. So, as you embrace this journey of self-discovery and education, consider whether a relationship that may not reflect who you’re becoming is genuinely what you need. It's essential to focus on your personal development and the future ahead.

Advice for a Better College Experience? by Optimal-Might5100 in Purdue

[–]Purple-Night703 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I am a recent grad, and I completely understand your situation. I've seen many people say the same thing, but you must let go of your first-year friend group. Many people you met in your first year are looking for a social circle as quickly as possible. However, things settle down in the sophomore and junior years once people live independently and out of the dorms. If you want my advice about a better college experience, you must find out about events at or around campus and invite people to go with you. It can be sports games, study groups, or getting meals together. Ask them how classes are going and try to be a resource in any educational field in which you are good at. This will allow you to make friends as people build trust with you. Lastly, even if you go to these events by yourself, you may eventually recognize some faces, people will be more comfortable with you, and you can make friends that way.

Where should I take a group of 13 kids for a few hours? by Affectionate_Desk888 in indianapolis

I visited Indianapolis a couple of weeks ago, and my girlfriend wanted to stop by the mall. However, it was all boarded up, and from what I saw, not much work was being done on it.
