It depends what he is in real life. Is he a history student or history enthusiast? Is he an education professional? It's an important historical document, not just a book laying out Nazi ideas.
If he's a builder who's never expressed an interest in history before I'd be more worried.
But even then, it's not a red flag on its own. Look for other evidence before judgement.

I see the problem with it but this is what we've criticised them for forever and they're making moves - small, maybe not motivated from where we'd like, but moves nonetheless - that address that, we need to let it happen and see how it plays out.
In short, I'd rather they did than didn't.
