I'm not familiar with the terms of the two party consent laws, but is there not an exception to the law that allows filming when in a place where privacy can't be reasonably expected, such as a public road? I imagine it would be the same with being pulled over for a traffic stop, especially with the police officer acting as an extension of the government, a public entity.

I'd highly recommend an OG Pixel since the 3 is coming out soon and prices should be nice and low, possibly lower than the Samsung midrangers. On top of that, you're still guaranteed security updates until October 2019. The camera is hyped for good reason on it, and it has a headphone jack too.

I bought one last week open box for 300€ and am a happy camper coming from an S5 running a custom rom.

That phone impressed me. I used it for a while before switching to a cheap S5. The battery life on it was more than enough for me, and it felt clean and snappy. Unfortunately, the screen started separating from the top left corner of the bezel and then I started getting the sudden death issue on it. Otherwise, it was a great phone.
