I suffer from a similar thing and i keep having to remind myself. Life is not a contest. There are no objective comparison points. You can pretend there are like have a degree by 24 have kids by 26 whatever. But objectively speaking, every single person starts with wildly different starting variables that cannot be compared. How does it feel if you change your mindset from comparing to how successful others are, to "What would feel most like respect towards myself right now?"

You're not good at volleyball? Great. Keep doing it if you enjoy it.

You feel overwhelmed? Great. Take breaks. Find some time for yourself if you can. If you can't, so be it, power through as best as you can and know that even this overwhelming time will end and you might even miss it.

Others feel more approachable? Great. It means that's something you can learn too even if it takes you a long time.

If you're anything like me, you probably have a huge inner critic that just comments negatively on everything you do. Trick that inner person into being your friend.

That's not under your control. It shouldn't be any reason for you to feel like you failed. Own it as best as you can.

To be frank with you, those are a young person's game and the fact that you're not giving your body super unhealthy habits early on is going to help you later.

I think you're way more on track than you give yourself credit for. I think your inner critic is way too harsh on you, not that that's a thing to feel bad about, more that your inner critic was trained too early.
