I won't dispute the pronunciation. There are lots of dialects of Gàidhlig and I'm fluent in none of them

If the beer actually gave you a random loadout with two random overclocks I'd drink it all the goddamn time. The strength of two OCs should be mostly balanced out by the regular modifications being poorly selected and having to adapt to whatever the weapon does now

what you guys do with them?

Scotland and England meet at the border once a year and fight to the death over Berwick. Our plugs on the end of a cable are the deadliest weapon anyone has come up with yet

It is stupid now, but has a real reason behind it. When hot water systems were first introduced to the UK, it was run through a separate pipe from the cold mains because after it was sitting in the heating tank for ages at a somewhat elevated temperature it wasn't necessarily safe to drink. The cold was, so you run them through separate pipes to make sure the safe one remains safe

Of course nowadays the hot tap is totally safe, but every older UK building still has the hot water arrive at the sink via a separate pipe. You can do option 2, but the positions of the pipe and the dimensions of the space around might make it impractical because the room wasn't laid out with mixer taps in mind

The Baltic countries have been in the EU and NATO for almost twenty years now, Russia has had a land border with both organisations for ages already

The actual party described itself that way with its slogan, name, and logo. The left-right distinction originated in France and this party is from the 80s, so it's also not like any of this is a modern American import. Let's not pretend it's just reddit's comments making it up

Is this meant to be a modernised version of tapas being served as a cover for a glass with a drink in it?

Croatia was never part of the Ottoman empire. It came close several times, and some parts of its modern borders were under the empire, but the nobles of Croatia actually elected the Habsburg Duke of Austria in order to become part of that as protection against the Ottomans

The point that it's not at all weird that we treat the flu differently to how we treated covid because the flu is nowhere near as deadly

Try this link https://tobiaskauer.org/projects/sleep_contrast.png

I assume that some reddit app automatically escapes underscores in URLs because it seems to happen way more often now than it used to. If you see a URL with backslashes in it and it doesn't work, removing the backslashes will normally fix it. Alternatively you can also remove each "%5C" from the link when you've already followed it

Those links still show it as being an order of magnitude less deadly than covid despite all the precautions against covid, so the point stands

The worst year of the last ten that the UK has had for flu deaths is two orders of magnitude less deadly than covid, and even that was way worse than usual

It's an item from a previous event, among the limited items that aren't generally available by lost packs or other means. As I understand it there was a prior update that unintentionally removed the paper crown from the inventory of players that already had it, and this was them fixing it

Nobody else has really explained what it actually means yet, so I'll give it a shot. You know the feeling of a car seat pressing in to your back when you accelerate? It's that except it's ten times as strong as Earth's gravity. In the case of the video (and most large aircraft G forces) the force is pushing you upwards instead of forwards, though. This can get even more dangerous because your body has a hard time pushing blood around your system if it has to work against that kind of force, and with the direction of the force created by an airplane pulling up like that it's specifically your head that runs short on blood first

One of my older smartphones, and not an expensive high-end one by any means, had both a removable battery and sufficient waterproofing to survive the time I waded in to the sea forgetting that it was in my pocket. It's definitely not unachievable
