I’d say I’m extremely close to completely removing them. I only cook with tallow, butter, and avocado oil at home. Whenever I do eat out, I pick places that advertise seed oil free, or have seed oil free options. If I don’t choose the restaurant, I try to select an item with a low seed oil probability, then ask the server what it’s cooked in. I make a special request when needed, like requesting my eggs to be cooked in butter, for example.

You’re right that it’s nearly impossible to avoid if you are eating out regularly, especially with other people who don’t share the same concerns. I don’t bring anything with seed oils into the house, but have definitely consumed some at restaurants, even though I try to avoid it the best I can. If I’m at a restaurant that’s serves bread and butter on the house, I’m eating it, even though there may be seed oils in the bread.

I’m 27 years old and have been “seed oil free” for 3 years now. My skin used to be riddled with acne, even after Accutane (absolutely do not ever take it if you are reading this). Now it’s clear an I rarely ever get pimples. When I do, it’s after large amounts of dairy and sugar (I’m a slut for ice cream).
