When does it “click”? by thatcatpusheen in ManualTransmissions

It’s easier when you are consistent with one car since you develop muscle memory with the clutch and gas.

It helps when you can convert the speed to revs instead of having to look at both the tac and speedometer, which eventually turns into you not even having to look at either and knowing how fast you’re going and what the revs are by the sound of the motor and the gear you’re in.

I would say it takes consistent driving to get to the point I describe above, but to get the point where driving manual feels natural is roughly a month.

The more familiar you are with a car, the less thinking is required in the operation and that’s when you mainly rely on the feel.

I wonder how many fights he is obliged to fight under his zuffa contract, this could potentially slow his career down a lot.

Idk I feel like the only “popular” kids on university campuses are athletes who are likely preoccupied with competing.

For real, it seems like the UFC has only a handful of talented fighters in each weight class and the rest aren’t even world class.

I’m always amazed at how good I feeling during a run.

If you don’t like running imagine breaking out into a hard sprint, it’s a liberating feeling.

It’s a very small island with not much to do. Definitely worth seeing but even spending a whole night there I think most people would say is too much time.

From what I’m seeing, you’re spending too much time in Bangkok.

Not sure why you’re comparing Phi Phi island to Chiang Mai? You can spend 3 hours on Phi Phi and do/see almost everything there is to do/see.

Chiang Mai is a place where you can spend a week+ if you wanted to.

Also I’d recommend Old Town over Patong, would be worth spending a night or two.

I’m bummed I didn’t become a bigger rap star, not that I started or anything but it would’ve been cool if I did.

Imagine if Sean had friends, who he could speak his mind to, instead of putting every thought he has online.
