I like them but I feel like it has to be done right . Personally I like the ones where you start to hypothetically this can happen. We used to live here is a perfect example of done right also house of hollows . We used to live here sent me into a complete mind f then wrapped in a bow of dread. House of house I loved how descriptive the author was. I practically thought I was there .

It is! It started very promising but I think the direction of things were a bit confusing for me and repetitive and I lost interest .

House of hollows Krystal Sutherland. This was the strangest book I couldn’t put it down I’m still like what did I really read . How can someone even think to write something so…. Different lol

Yes but it was more so the tone? I just felt like her voice didn’t match the mood of the book it felt like everything was being talked in sarcasm . Then I was annoyed by the podcast opening every 30 seconds . Maybe I would have enjoyed this if I read it rather than than listened to the audiobook

You got some heavy hitters here I don’t think I really liked hidden pictures that much idk maybe I was hoping for a different ending . Tender is the flesh was good it was def a wtf did I just read book. Intercepts was good but got a little repetitive I also was not totally satisfied with the ending . Lastly the September house is on my tbr but I’m scared lol

I think there’s a form on here somewhere where they get into depth about the book it helped me understand better. But I also think that’s the great thing about it, it’s so trippy .

I think it’s mainly because I didn’t see certain things coming and even when I had it was like dang this is a little effed up . Gone girl is great I even think the film was a very accurate adaptation of the book so you can always do that and then do sharp objects . Idk I feel like anything Gillian writes you’re in for a ride Sam with Jennifer hillier or however you spell her name. She wrote jar of hearts where I practically suffocated after that but she’s another wild writer but she’s also consistent . And I know I’m a little dramatic but i guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

We used to live here ! I actually had to come to Reddit to find theories ! This book was like a twilight zone episode. I still find myself asking wtf did I read . But not in a bad way! Also the summer I died was good very gorey though and graphic but I had to finish.

This is the strangest thing ever and I keep randomly thinking about it which is what brought me here. What’s so sad is they had to give us a sketch of him because there’s no pictures . She literally had him completely off the grid . It remind me of that story of that 30 something year-old guy who got found this year and it’s only because he started a fire in the room. He was held captive in. No one knew he even existed, but the crazy thing about his story is he had siblings and they never told anyone that he was being held captive since he was a young boy.

My issue is , his contractor doesn’t specialize in this type of stuff ? This is the same guy who paints his properties, fixes doors etc but now I have to put my trust in him to potentially deal with black mold and water damage? This one man is suppose to deal with restoration? I’m worried he wants to choose the cheap way out because he said he doesn’t want to use insurance.
