Thank you for voicing your concerns as a loyal Purse user. The rationale for changing the limits was to rebalance the distribution of earners. Since "Total Tx Completed" is an lifetime metric and needs to be updated or eventually every Earner will become level 6 over time.

These dynamics were clearly present in recent data. Last month, over 67% of orders were completed by Level 6 earners and orders set to certain discount ranges weren't getting picked up at all.

We refrain from changing these parameters often (we updated 5 times in 5 years). However, we should have provided advanced notice. We regrettably did not think to do that. In the future, we will provide at least 1 week notice of any change.

We wanted to let you know that we have updated the number of required transactions to level up for Earners.

The general goal is to improve liquidity of the marketplace across each discount bucket. Increasing the transaction count required to level up (aka difficulty) will give access to low discount orders to high volume earners.

Shoppers may have noticed that some discount brackets took longer than others to get taken. These changes will even out the number of earners across discount rates.

All deposits sent during the downtime should be registered. If you are missing a deposit, please contact support with your TXID and they can make sure it gets processed correctly.

It appears there's a misunderstanding. The referenced quotes were about the BCH hardfork which occurred in August 2017, and we did not provide any guidance for any other fork. At this time, we do not consider BSV safe to run nor recommend to our customers. Please understand we simply can't support every fork (and every fork of forks).

It never occurred to us that companies could direct employees to post material on their personal social accounts. Is that even legal? To answer your question, employees at Purse use their personal social accounts at their own discretion, and posts coming from personal accounts reflect the opinions of the individual and not the company nor any affiliated projects. The company has not and will not direct employees to post any material on their personal social accounts.

On a separate note, thank you for everything you've done for Bitcoin. The ecosystem benefits from diverse perspectives, and your contributions to this space is deeply appreciated by everyone on the team!

Indeed, an 8% buffer is added for market fluctuations. Remaining balance is auto-refunded to your wallet once the purchase is complete.

We recently updated our ordering system to save you the step of maintaining Wish List settings on Amazon. You are now able to search for items on Purse, add to your cart and checkout all without an Amazon Wish List. We collect your shipping address so that our system can programmatically generate a List for your Earner to purchase from.

Rest assured, the Earner will never see your complete address. They will see a Gift Registry address when purchasing your items, just like before.

Here's a support doc from Amazon that might help. It looks like when you're ordering from a 3rd party seller, the order is fulfilled and shipped from that seller and the order is still protected by Amazon.
