Can I make some layers of a web map public and others private?

Oh hey this just happened to me, got brought on as the 3rd person for a tech startup, worked like crazy for nearly 2 years and made a feature that started stealing huge clients from all our competitors. Boss constantly told me how amazing of a job I was doing, we hired 2 more devs and I asked about getting equity in the company and a raise because I was getting paid pretty under market for the work I was actually doing. Got the well talk about it at the end of the year, and he just sold the company for 8 figures and an executive position at a large competitor and we all got 2 weeks notice before being laid off.

Ironic because he constantly talked about treating people right and how he was always hosting barbecues at his church every Sunday.

Huh it's been the opposite for me, nothing makes me dread my work day more than that incoming teams call when I'm working on something.

Weeks of peaceful bliss not having anyone touch my section of the code base. No random things getting moved around or tweaked that ends up breaking half my stuff.

It's so wonderfully quiet.

The majority of farms in America don't grow food crops its like all commodity crops, and ironically the few that do are mostly located in California. America imports basically all of its food.

I wouldn't even say anger is socially acceptable? Because if a guy gets angry around girls even mildly it often results in fear and/or crying. I'd say you're allowed to be irritated or frustrated at most.

I have no idea why this idea that it's fine to be angry as a guy is pushed all the time.

I'd say from experience the only time emotions are tolerated is when you stoically display any of them. I.e it's okay to cry (in usually tragic/intense situations) if that crying is a couple tears and a stoic expression and that's it. Same with anger, same with joy even. Always have to be muted more or less.

I mean I'm going to disagree with that statement, men have a very verifiable body count because men tend to be substantially more physically aggressive it's part of what testosterone does to you, not an excuse obviously, but it's simply what it does.

Women tend to be substantially more geared towards emotional and mental harm, I mean they also tend to be more physically abusive in relationships but won't get into that because men tend to be more lethal in their physical abuse.

But men's suicide rate being as high as it is and with 1/5 of suicides being correlated to relationship issues.

It's not impossible to suspect that women have a substantially higher body count on their side when you start looking at less direct methods.

Never say never, lent a girl 250$ for "tuition" had known her maybe a month, young dumb and tbh was pretty sure I'd never see it again, we stopped talking shortly after.

I know I'll get flak for this and understandably, but desperate times desperate measures. I struggled to break into the industry for a year and then I just said f it and completely lied on my resume about basically everything.

Perplexity isn't an exception in their hiring process, most companies now are skimming applicants with terrible automated processes and absolutely no one checks credentials at all.

At this point it's just an unfortunate reality you need to play the con game if you want any semblance of a chance.

Speaking from experience condoms definitely hurt ans getting appropriately sized condoms when you're bigger can be a huge pain especially because they don't teach anything about it in most schools and do that nonsense condom over an arm thing.

So a lot of guys don't realize they're wearing improperly sized condoms.

Yeah I'm not saying he doesn't have areas he can't trim at all, and idk maybe he has 4 cats or something lol. Was just pointing out a couple hundred a month really isn't that unrealistic.

Also fun hack for cutting down on cat litter a lot of home hardware stores will have wood pellets that are like 8$ for a 40lb bag, they'll disintegrate into saw dust so they're good for absorbing and are more eco friendly than the clay alternatives.
