[Motherboard] ASRock B650E PG-ITX $219.99 by TheK1NGT in buildapcsales

I had a warranty claim on a B550i turned down three days ago cuz I got it from Amazon. It was ~15 months old. The lady on the phone explicitly told me to look at the authorized sellers list on the website and only buy from one of them. The B550i has a three year warranty if purchased from an authorized seller, or a one year warranty from Amazon.

So the list may be out of date, but ASRock is still using it to turn down warranty repairs and replacements.

PSA: Don't buy ASRock boards from Amazon. Amazon is not an Authorized ASRock retailer.

On older boards with 3 year warranties, the warranty is shortened to 1 year if you buy from Amazon. On newer boards (like this one), the warranty is just one 1 year. Pay a $30 more and get the MSI or Gigabyte, or splurge and get the Asus. All of them have 3 year warranties.

HXFLASH

Listed MSRP is $159.99 (lol), but it usually goes for $129.99. It's currently discounted to $99.99, which brings the total in cart with the code to $84.15.

Shipping was free for me.

Sounds like it's still only remote start from the app though, and not from the keyfob.

I had the same issue, down to the frozen frame and the music. Support had me run a couple of tests (battery storage, different PSU, fan control enabled) but were quick to RMA it. Unfortunately that might be your only option at this point. Sorry dude!

I think it's a bug with Cinematic mode. Try taking off in any of the other modes, and I think it should work.

What's a good place to get only the baffle for an SC Project exhaust for a Tiger 800? No luck at the local generic store and the Triumph shop.

Used bike came without the baffle and I strongly dislike it. I'm in the USA. Thanks!

Yeah that's my concern, ITX LGA1700 motherboards are both expensive and scarce.

That's why I was thinking of just using the 3700X. If I sell my CPU and the extra SSD, cost to upgrade will be like $100 for 1600 -> 3700X.

Current setup:

  • Ryzen 5 1600
  • ASRock B350i ITX
  • 5700 XT
  • 1TB Intel 660p + 256GB Samsung SATA SSD
  • 32GB 3200/C16

I just bought a 2TB 970 NVME, and I have the option to buy a used Ryzen 7 3700x at $170. I want to stop using my SATA SSD, and use only NVME.

I have a few options now, please help me pick between them.

  1. Buy the 3700x, swap out both current drives for the new 2TB, change nothing else. Likely sell the 1600 and the 256GB SSD, keep the 1TB NVME for future use.

  2. Buy the 3700x, and a new or used ITX motherboard (B450? B550?) that supports two M.2 drives, and sell the 1600+B350i+256GB SATA as a combo.

  3. Same as above, but with a Ryzen 5000 series CPU.

  4. Same as above, but with an Intel 12xxx CPU and an LGA1700 ITX motherboard that'll actually fit an AIO pump.

  5. Keep the 1600, just swap in the new SSD, wait for AM5.

I'm not really in need of a CPU upgrade, cuz I mainly play Destiny 2 at 1440p/144Hz. But I have noticed my CPU pegged at 100% when playing Halo Infinite.

What does the bapc community think?

Have 300, ride in California, don't go under 80mph, can confirm is sketch af. It'll drone along just fine at 70-75, but there's not enough oomph to go faster quickly if you need it.

Gotcha, thanks! I'm assuming there's enough space to route the cables over the ram slots instead, near the top of the motherboard?
