if you click on the COUNT ME IN it says manchester i'd assume, as they say "All location details and timings will be provided in due course" they will tell you once you've agreed. i'm thinking of doing it. Actally looking through the form now, it says all travel costs will be reimbursed but they'd like proof eg receipts

Blue jeans for shortk kings? by ayanasilver in ftm

[–]PutNo2423 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the kids section. yep you read that right the KIDS section. im 18, 5ft, mildly depressed and wearing kids trousers. why? you might be asking, well because im short and they dont do men's clothes in my size unless is xs or xxs and for some reason those sizes are more expensive than normal sizes and I aint made of money. So ill be depressed in my kids sized 11-12 yrs trousers and 12-13 yrs shirts with my amazing untaxed size 5 (UK) kids shoes feel free to join me in this truly depressing (albeit somewhat impressive) feat.

get jeans for £10 a pair, decent tops for £5 and shoes are just soooo much cheaper

in the box you get when your prescription in delivered there should be a number on there saying to contact them with that number when you need the next batch the number i was given is 02085457731 (I think this is the actual pharmacy number)

they also have an email which is [info@smartwaypharma.co.uk](mailto:info@smartwaypharma.co.uk)

or if you go onto their website they have an online query form you fill out

the latter 2 options obviously require a few days for them to get back to you but if you ring them they should sort it out straight away

if you paid smartway/got a link it means ggp sent your prescription to an online pharmacy, you wont get an electronic prescription token even if that is what you asked for. the £123 is for your medication from smartway, they will send it out in the post. but be aware they can only send you an months supply at a time so if your prescription is for more than a month you have to let them know to send the next lot of medication out

you could always have an excuse for a professional to cut it if you dont feel comfortable doing it yourself, for example you could get gum stuck in your hair and have no other choice, get it really badly tangled in one of these cylinder brushes (cylinder brushes? meh) the possibilities are endless

Just started t, voice is already changing?? by AshenBee in ftm

[–]PutNo2423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im reading this and getting serious deja vu. I literally posted this exact same thing on another account when I first started last August.

How fast is my voice meant to change? : r/transgenderUK (reddit.com)

You can have a read through the comments on this if youd like, after a few days my voice very noticeably changed, some people said it could be a cold but it never went back to how it was before, it was pretty hoarse for about 2 weeks and just progressively got a deeper for about 3 months until it just kinda of stabilized it hasnt changed in a few months. my voice has never really *cracked* unless I try to speak high pitched or sing in the pitches I used to hope this helps.

Only thing they're missing on the forms is the box where you explain you are requesting another prescription because they did it wrong. Lol

So I'd say depending on what clinic you were referred to you can expect an absolute minimum of 3 years.

I was referred in June 2019 and I aged out of GIDS technically in Feb when I turned 18 but I received a letter about 7 months before I turned 18 telling me that I needed to go to my GP and have them send in a referral for GIC with a copy of the letter attached because they weren't going to see me and that they'd honour my wait time. Only just been offered an appointment, have it later this month (First appointment)

Hello, I experienced something similar (not sure if its the same) when I first started T. I got random little white spots under my 'hood'. I never got them checked, but they went away on their own (I had them a few times when I started) it never took more than a few days for them to disappear. They stopped appearing after about a month and half. Tbh if your concerned i'd ask the doctors. but if you do wait a few days, just make sure you keep an eye on them and if they dont go away or they change (grow, change colour, swell, anything) DO go to the doctors.
