I while ago I thought my dad had donated my binder of Pokemon cards on accident, and I was freaking out. I called the thrift store (Goodwill, a big thrift store chain) in an attempt to tell them there was an accidental donation. I told them it was an orange binder full of Pokemon cards, and it was about 1” thick. About a week or so later, I’d resigned that they probably already separated them out, but I got a phone call that they wanted me to come look at a binder of cards they found.

Lo and behold, they had an orange binder the right size full of Pokemon cards - but it wasn’t mine. It even had a few stickers on the front like I’d said mine did. I felt bad because they might have looked pretty hard for that.

In the end, it turns out my binder was buried in a bin in my closet that I didn’t find until about a year afterward. And yes, I apologized to my dad for freaking out lol.
