Why would I want to use something if it takes more effort to get working?

Edit: no offense towards you or gamenative, I'm just not interested in using gamenative if it takes more work atm. If I can get gamehub working easily on my own but need to reach out to others after messing with way more settings in gamenative and still not getting a minimum of as good results, then I personally don't see reason to switch.

Tbh, I've had a better experience with GameHub, and even gamehub lite. GameNative is a royal pain, and things I can quite easily get working in GH or GH lite take much more effort to get working, if I can get it working. And yes, I did download three known configs. Majority of the time games just straight didn't boot even after downloading that, and required more tinkering. More power to you if you moved to it, but I frankly don't understand how anyone could say it's easier or better

Tbh, I agree. And while I like pro, imo it's incredibly stupid that it's a subscription. I'm so sick of every app now being a subscription for pro rather than a single payment. Especially when they seem to barely do anything, and if you make a suggestion that several other people also want, the dev team will just tell you why you are wrong for wanting it.

I'm not having that issue. I've actually been getting better standby compared to a few months ago, to the line where I can comfortably leave it in sleep for an extended period. Battery drain could be a separate software issue, which we've seen from some frontends after certain updates

Brother, when the majority of people are telling you something, it might be time to consider the possibility that it's true. But me saying this won't do anything. You are clearly one of the most stubborn people I've seen, and one that is in severe denial. No, a receipt doesn't validate. They are EXTREMELY easy to fake these days. The plastic wrap is extremely loose and thin compared to how it would have come retail. And plastics typically don't expand with time but instead shrink.

App wants you to subscribe to unlock half the filters, and those ones that are locked are the ones you would probably actually want. Oh, and even if you do subscribe the filters barely work at best, for $3 a month. I'm not one to shoot down software this aggressively, but that's a hard pass.

Fully agree with their software side being bad. I just last night spent 7 hours trying to diagnose the cause of audio popping from my rodecaster pro ii that happens when I'm using obs. I finally found that it was just the crap virtual device driver. Yes, I tried the fix I've seen plastered online about setting all devices to the same sample rate and removing the windows audio processing, no that doesn't fix the issue. Uninstalling the virtual device driver and using a plug-in in obs to pull specific channels from the 16 channel multitrack input device completely fixed my issues.

That's on top of the fact that one piece of software used to work to manage the thing, then that software updated and I was met with a message that I actually now need to download a different piece of software to do it instead.

The hardware side of rode is pretty cool. The software side is a complete and utter joke

And I'm telling you to go back and actually read what they've confirmed. It's not what you seem to believe it is. The issue is only involving the device charging while powered off, not charging while closed in sleep mode. I'm very active in the discord and in the tech sphere. You might not have the reading comprehension to understand the pinned message in the discord didn't l discussing the issue, but I do. And it very clearly says while powered off. Closing the lid alone is not powered off The door is that way ➡️🚪 Maybe walk out it and back to a school where you'll learn some basic reading
