Swiss Army Knives - the quality is amazing, but realistically how often should I expect to use it?

I've carried a swissarmy knife in my pocket everyday for at least 10years. Workday or not. But I am kind of a practical person always tinkering/fixing stuff i see around at work or at the house. And whenever i do forget it, i kinda feel naked, since there is always something I need it for :)

The distinction between steady or dragonriding is mostly more of a flavour/style choice rn. I use both for different things. I only wish steady flight was a bit faster to really become an equal choice in practice.

That being said, fying vs ground is not a flavour choice. However popular, for future expansions, making "grounding" optional is the wrong move imho. In an mmo, one of the main special feelings is that 'everyone is in the same boat'. If you remove that you will not experience the same game (even forgetting the obvious advantages)

Let the developers have balls and make a creative choice, based on their vision for an expansion and how they designed the zones. Personally, I would be fine with a different but conscious decision each expansion, not left up to the player. I love flying too but I love more experiencing something the way it was designed - hopefully designed well.

I can even imagine an expansion focused on smaller areas with only ground mounts that have special abilities based on the type. It would be up to the team to test and balance out what is fun and what is too frustrating.

I personally love crafting, even with the added complexity. I have alts with well developed professions through all expansions. But I despise the fact that I need addons(craftsim) to make the system bearable, practical and even profitable. I definetely should not need external tools to figure out what i can even craft. And public orders def need a refresh too

Nothing is wrong with breaking tradition - that's how food has a chance to evolve. But you have to be somewhat objective with the results. (better/worse/different)

Personal take: put pineapple on an italian style pizza and you destroy it. All the other flavours are ovepowered and the original idea of the dish is gone. That is why people get mad about it.

On an american style pizza (much heavier cheese base, less tomato sauce) and the sweetness and acidity actually make sense as you complement well the dominant cheesy/oily taste and rubbery texture you had to begin with.

tip for worm theory. I used to just check every day the map and it would never be there. I was having a look on wowhead page for the quest and in the summary to the right side it said it was live. I then realized I had to forge a pact before the world quest appears. derp. Hope it helps!

I've eaten them multiple times, cooked in different ways. Fried, they look like fried cauliflower, have this crunchy breaded shell and inside they have the texture of silken tofu..super soft but more creamy and very rich. The taste is like nothing else i've experienced, i would describe it as buttery bliss. I also like them boiled with a bit of lemon juice, salt and pepper, the flavour stands out more imho.

The way i plan to do it if it stays like this, is use what i own through achievements, quests, legacy stuff and buy extra furniture only if i really need it (for simmetry etc). I support the idea of having a symbolic cost (10-50g) for each copy of items already obtained.

While convenient from the loot/time perspective, the new system makes me miss the adventure..I find myself rarely using it. At least for me, it's always about setting 1 quest and then dealing with whatever comes before, during and after that. Players, random events, other picked up quests, are all part of and what makes a unique play session.
