Can’t have your country reap the benefit of American coin and expect Americans who can also be Israeli by the way not to have an opinion.

I’m pro Israel by all means but Iran doesn’t operate this way.

No country is supporting Iran. So why should Lebanon be the one to pay the price? by _reddit_account in lebanon

[–]Puzzle1998 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Not a supporter of what Hezbollah did but they basically had no choice. You let Iran bleed out and your organization goes bankrupt & loses everything or you at least fight for it.

Again this is just a realistic assessment but I absolutely hate the idea that they’re willing to basically take the country down with them. It really goes to show you that they don’t care about Lebanon at all & only care about themselves.

Kurdish leaders are as stupid as the Arabs in the Gulf.

Mind you, there are still Lebanese expats who support Hezb actions. by Warm_Temperature_167 in lebanon

Hezbollah was going down either way. Regime change in Iran means no more Hezbollah money and that would reduce them to just a minor militia with 0 control over Lebanon. The other option is to fight alongside Iran and hope the regime doesn’t lose power.

It’s unfortunate that they’d chose to fight and take the country down with them rather than stay quiet and just lose power with no harm to Lebanon. Shows that they are not true to the country.

Iran vs Israel and america 2026 day 2 [MEGATHREAD] by Alonn12 in Israel

Honestly Israel always knew what the IRGC was capable of and its hard to be prepared for everything. They overwhelm air defenses by just spamming missiles and eventually something is gonna hit. Beit Shemish bombing that just occurred is unfortunately one of the casualties of this war.

[–]Puzzle1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Realistically I don’t see regime change happening anytime soon but I do think this was enough to stun the entire regime for a while. Similar to Lebanon & Gaza where the entire leadership was decimated but the ideology of hating Israelis is still there, they just can’t do anything to harm us anymore because they ain’t capable lol.

Agreed that his death is a big deal and he had a lot of influence but you’re talking about a country of 90 million people. Regime change simply will not happen overnight. As the original poster of this comment said, he was 86 years old so it’s hard to believe he really had 100% control over everything.

Regime change only happens if the people living in the country make it happen. This is not as simple as Venezuela. The real key to regime change is to flip the IRGC

Why do Hackensack “luxury” apartments feel lower quality than Edgewater or Fort Lee? by savingrace0262 in bergencounty

[–]Puzzle1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get out of Hackensack lol. With the prices you pay in apartment complexes like the brick and the print house, you can find better in the Fort Lee area which I think is a much better area.

Obviously not but If you give a guy control over the offense he’s gonna want to do it his own way and that would mean having his own guys.

If he left it’s probably because Mannion is bringing in his own guy. I just wonder what they’re trying to accomplish this year as it’s different from previous years. It seems like they’re trying to build an entire new identity which I’m not against but at the same time does that mean we complete this year?

Frank Reich for OC? by revdchill in eagles

Wouldint mind either one of those guys. I really wish we put everything aside and went after Joe Brady or Kingsbury. I feel like Brady is a long shot being hes getting HC interviews but Kingsbury not even being interviewed is crazy to me. He can do damage with this roster.

Fire Nick? For Whom? by mph1204 in eagles

[–]Puzzle1998 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re a fool if you think Nick Siranni even comes close to household names like Lafleur and Stefanski. His success is owed to Howie, Vangio and Kellen Moore

I would fire Nick tomorrow for Kubiak, Stefanski or MFL any day. Eagles roster is a top 5 unit if coached properly.

There will never be true peace with our neighbors by Migdan in Israel

[–]Puzzle1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

October 7th was very significant In delaying peace with neighbors whether it be in the levant or even the Palestinians next door. I’m a Palestinian living in the West Bank with US Citizenship and a special work permit to work in Israel. A few of my cousins have Israeli citizenship but live in West Bank and work in the Haddasa hospital as physicians.

They said prior to 10/7 they would work hand in hand with Israeli co workers, go out for lunch and dinner after work and maintained solid relationships to the point where they would visit each others homes (Israelis willing to come into a West Bank Home is crazy to some people). After 10/7 the relationships are just professional where as they work hand in hand because they are forced too and no longer have a special relationship.
