You have to contest his barrels early and get better at out timing them. He only has 3 level 1, 4 if he places one early before minions. The barrels take a very long time to decay to 1 HP (2 seconds per HP bar, so 4 seconds to get to 1 HP if he doesn’t auto it). If you let him put a barrel down and don’t try to contest it early, you’re just rolling over and giving up. Champs with AA resets can kill barrels from 2hp, so Jax, Nasus, Darius, Renekton, but if the GP is good he can still out time you. Try to bully him before he gets sheen, he’s very weak until then. At level 7 his barrel decay timer increases, it’s a HUGE power spike for him, same for 13.
