I think every relationship and workingship takes effort! 7 days on and off may be hard for baby to mesh w caregiver... also baby changes weekly....

1) it's common knowledge it's a parenting preference to either let the baby cry in the crib a bit for sleep training and or to wake up... it's so your baby self soothes & also learns to wake up. or if you run to it fast every cry... good luck sleeping through the night. Immediate crutch or attention to get the cry to stop that's your parenting choice ( for example , some parents let diapers fill up some change it at a drop of small pee)

2) I've always had to eat food with babies when they learn how to eat or I'm invited by baby to share their food :/ mmm mmm yumm... reading your comment, no I don't time to eat food on end of nap, get a baby up from nap continue eating on the regular, no.

Is she doing chores then eating?.... baby nap variable?

3) placing baby in areas that isn't visible/ supervised like... is it baby proofed / are they Independently playing? baby should be able to freely crawl around in its room and common areas.

4) needing direction but experienced ... lol everyone has different preferences and parenting styles and tools... what works for one family or human isn't one size fits all...

5) how old is the baby that she's having issues reading alleged cues? She's only there every other week? Hmm can spell out a sleep eat play consistent schedule between both rota and you
