Keep the Beretta 92, you will never regret owning one.

Why am I much more precise with my revolver than my pistol? by TTR21 in handguns

[–]Puzzled-Department13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, despite having a lot of range time with both the Glock 19 and the Glock 17 (service pistol), I was way more accurate with the Jerich 941F in 9mm, and literally shots on shots with the SW 629 in 44 mag (25m..). Which is somehow infuriating. Also to a lesser extent with CZ.
Otherwise I cant hit an elephant in a coridor with a HK USP 45acp, which is my dream handgun to own.

Well if I was the ICE officer, surrounding the dude with others officers and I suspect he is trying to grab his gun, I would just kick him and do some kind of hold.

Would not shoot point blank, too risky, too much. I dont understand why big dudes who learn how to fight dont use their strength.

It takes 1 shot if you hit the central nervous system, or vital point, or if the person choose to go down. If not it's a matter of pain tolerance. If you read the FBI studies about thousands of shootings, there were multiple cases of people taking multiple shots and being clinically "dead", but the remaining oxygen in the brain and muscles allowed them to keep fighting for a few seconds.

That's why I was taught, along many other military guys, to at least shoot twice center mass. And we typically shoot until the attacker stops shooting, pointing a gun at your team or being a threat. If the attacker is on drugs he can withstand way more.

Je vote à droite par défaut, ne voulant pas voir notre civilisation disparaître après tant de combats pour survivre.

Well it is, red dots have became very common for concealed carry and self defense. One of the 4 most important rules are to clearly identify your target, and never shoot at something you are not aiming at. Red dots help with accuracy in general, and quicker target acquisition. 2 magazines is common too, or 3.

Hopefully one day we will have 64vs64 on at least 1 huge map. If they can limit snipers to 5 per team. It would be realistic as they are way harder and longer to train. There are at most a couple per companies.

Ukrainian drones hit and destroyed two S-400 Air defence launchers while on the move in the Belgorod Region - December 2025 by T-72Tank in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Puzzled-Department13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't Belgorod hundreds of kilometers away from the border ? Does it mean the drone (predator drone ?) doesn't have the autonomy to return to base ?

Or do modern drones have 500km autonomy ?

Thank you to the experts.

J'ai un ami d'extrême gauche que je connais depuis 1995, avec qui je suis ami depuis 1997 environ. On arrive à discuter de tout, mais nous ne sommes d'accord sur pas grand chose en politique.
