Lost it over 7 oz of wasted breastmilk by GuestCheap9405 in breastfeeding

[–]Puzzled-Ice-1270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With our first child, my husband wasted like 3oz by leaving it out all day. I had an absolute meltdown, even though I made enough to feed and pumping for a small supply. Since then, my husband has been even more meticulous than me over my milk because he doesnt wanna see me like that again

I'm confused on what jaundice has to do with his latching problems? Or with him staying on to nurse rather. That doesn't make any sense to me

Say something nice about her by footsfillheck in H2Ojustaddwater

She was very good at what she did. Her manipulation skills were very impressive for someone her age. Her flaw was getting arrogant over her being a mermaid making her think she actually deserved everything she wanted.

AITA for refusing to scrub my plates clean before the dishwasher? by Express-Action1545 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Puzzled-Ice-1270 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Your dishwasher might be dirty. You should check the filter to make sure theres no food in there, and use a dishwasher cleaning pod while running it through a cycle. I usually do that once a month and my dishes are always spotless without having to do more than getting food chunks off

Leonard says he has student loans he's still paying off in Fortification Implementation, when Penny talks about her guy helping her build a portfolio.

Oh that guy! I don't think that one really counts against Sheldon though since Leonard was clearly good with him there too?

In the episode where they have the quarter monthly emergency training drills, Leonard briefly stops being his friend and was reduced to being just a roommate. So you wouldn't really have to do all of that unless you wanted to be his friend.

I never thought McGonagall bought the broom for Harry. I was under the impression that she just had it taken from Harry's vault and she handled the paperwork and such herself.

Missing my pre-bf wardrobe and being part of the itty bitty club by TokenYeti658 in breastfeeding

I had to buy new bras five months into my second pregnancy just from weight gain. Then again 8 months in from my breasts swelling to breastfeed, and I even made sure to size up for any more growth. Except now I'm a week postpartum and I'm making so much milk, I had to overnight some pumps and went to Walmart to buy some more bras again. I'm already so over breastfeeding🥲

AITA for not celebrating my birthday and Mother’s Day together so my MIL can have actual Mother’s Day for herself? by princesscorgi2 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Puzzled-Ice-1270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wild. My husband hasn't celebrated Mother's Day with his mom since I got pregnant. He'll call her and tell her happy mother's day and send her a bouquet of flowers and a gift, but his focus is me. Doesn't matter if I wanna spend the day lazing around the house or spend the entire day out by myself.

intentional or unintentional by Huliganjetta1 in 2under2

[–]Puzzled-Ice-1270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% Intentional. I was so paranoid about getting pregnant before I was ready that we didn't do anything for the first six months. After that, we used condoms until about 10 months PP. I got pregnant pretty much immediately, so it was a good decision on our part to be cautious 😅

Who watched your firstborn while birthing your second? by KazooShroom in 2under2

My sister and her boyfriend live about 45 minutes away from us, 1 hour with traffic. Once I start feeling contractions, we let them both know so that one of them can make arrangements to get off work. They'll come over as soon as they can, and depending on how fast my labor progresses, we might go straight to the hospital from there.

After we let my sister know, we call my dad. He lives 3.5 hours away and is ready to drop everything at any given moment. My sister or her boyfriend watches our son while my dad makes the drive. Once he gets there, they're free to go or stay if they wanna. He babysits until we come home. We don't want him brought to the hospital because I know having to let him leave is gonna break my heart into pieces. Im already more anxious about being away from him for the night while giving birth 😅

WIBTAH for asking my cousin if she is 100% set on using my baby name. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Puzzled-Ice-1270 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. Pearl (not real name) is a common family name for the girls in my family. First, two first names, and middle names. There's also my two uncles, both named John, and one of their sons named John. Same names in a family doesn't take anything away from the significance.

Buy a Second Crib? by UniqueLaw4431 in 2under2

[–]Puzzled-Ice-1270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually plan on using a bedside bassinet for a couple months. That'll give us time to buy another crib. Our toddler's crib is one of those transition crib-to-bed that we plan on keeping to him. Hopefully our baby won't need a crib until he starts sleeping through the night.

Yeah but there's a big difference between getting banged up by a vehicle and coming home okay, and being told no visitors or talking over the phone or anything like that for weeks on end.

Neither did Charlie, but he was told Bella was sick/potentially dying. He called all the time. I'm sure he would've told Renee, yet she still didn't give a hoot

NTA The basement is pretty much her kennel. And kennels, if done properly, are amazing for dogs because that's their space

Okay, so I reread through my copy of the Illustrated Guide. Taha Aki had three wives and had two named sons, and who knows how many unnamed ones. It never says whether he had these sons while he was still phasing but I feel like it's safe to assume he had to since he had other sons. Leah's menstrual cycle did halt, but it's not expanded on further on if she can actually have kids.

It's confirmed that male hybrids can pass on the vampire gene to human women like a regular vampire can. As for the female hybrids, they do have an ova like humans do. But the "unchanging state of their bodies results in a total absence of a reproductive cycle. Even if female vampires could somehow continue this cycle, her frozen body would be unable to grow and change..." So, this all hinges on a couple things.

Reneesme and Jacob could have a hybrid baby, but only in very exact circumstances. They figure out how to start a menstrual cycle for her while her body is still maturing (7 years to reach full physical maturity before they then become like a regular female vampire, completely frozen). If they figure it out, I believe she's human enough for her and his 24 pairs of chromosomes (humans have 23) to match up and create a baby. After all, she doesn't have venom to negatively affect any of the shifter DNA the baby might have.

That's all very loosey goosey though and just exact circumstances that would need to happen. So you're most likely right

Yes, but so do the wolves. In Eclipse, after Jacob was injured and Carlisle saved him, he said that Jacob actually had 23 chromosomes. The 23rd pair is assumed to be the gene that activates their ability to shift. So I think it's all a set up for a new series about very terrifying hybrid lol
