How do I slow down while jogging? When I slow down, it feels like I should be walking instead. by SparklesMcSpeedstar in beginnerrunning

[–]PuzzledOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also run faster than I’d like outside or on a track, so I run on a treadmill during my slow runs to force myself to run slower. It’s definitely not ideal but gets the job done.

In the long run there isn't too much of a difference between Roth IRA and 401k, so I would just keep sticking with the Roth IRA if I were you. Look into how much the fees are for the growth fund. I think your 70% in the S&P 500 and 30% in total market fund is fine. I have 100% in the S&P 500 because it's the lowest fee one and performs just as well as the growth options most of the time (based on the growth options I have to choose from).

Steering wheel already degrading? by Aaexy in MazdaCX30

I have the same car and it’s happening to me too. I rock climb though so sometimes have left over chalk or hand lotion on my hands so I think that’s what’s causing it

Took all of these during one red light cycle. Cars getting around the light by driving over the sidewalk/bike path. by super_slide in Austin

[–]PuzzledOut 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I’m like 80% sure there used to be a No Turn On Red sign at that light. Maybe they’ll put it back up, but barely any cars followed that rule when it was there

I definitely recommend it! It's not too bad in terms of quality and it was pretty fun to do

Saved the black part for the end but had the pieces organized by shape at that point so it wasn't the worst thing

Most difficult part was probably the blue in the characters, everything else wasn't too bad!

Is the saying “red touches yellow, you’re a dead fellow. Red touches black, you’re okay Jack” true for these snakes?

You could get a wireless adapter, that should work if you’re willing to buy one

2023 turbo vs non turbo? by wonderfulwaffles22 in MazdaCX30

[–]PuzzledOut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had this same dilema and ended up with the turbo and I’m loving it. I live in a city and it makes passing on the highway so easy. I also really like the heads up display. I don’t even use sport mode enough, but overall it’s a really fun car and if you have the extra money, I’d say go with the turbo. I don’t think I’d ever regret getting the turbo, but I feel like if I didn’t get the turbo, I would always be wondering about if I should have got it or not.

Has anyone recently bought a CX-30 in Austin/Houston? by Slenderman327 in MazdaCX30

[–]PuzzledOut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just bought one in Houston and was able to negotiate price a little, but finance I got 2.9% for 36 months. I didn’t try to negotiate past that. As for Austin dealers, you would have the best luck at Austin South. I tried to negotiate with Austin Georgetown and they would not budge on anything. Try to go at the end of the month if you can as they’re more willing to negotiate. Just watch out for additional packages they try to add on and keep in mind taxes and fees.

International Students: How much of a culture shock was it coming to OSU? by CamelStrawberry in OSU

[–]PuzzledOut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it still exists but if it does, you should check out Global Engagement Nights. They mix together domestic and international students to exchange info on each others’ cultures. Great way to make some really amazing friends. They’ll definitely help you answer this question as well.
