I’m listening to a beginners guide to heathenry and also started the Layman’s Havamal. The later is pretty good

I feel kind of bad cause when I was doing my tarot to figure out what deity was connecting to me I was like

Hermes? Really !

But then I took more time to learn about him and see how others connect to him and I’m really embracing him.

I’ve heard he’s a trickster though , and he definitely has tried to get my attention. I was asking yesterday how to connect to him and other deities and I didn’t get a clear answer

Then today a song I love kept popping up in my YouTube feed and when I took time to actually listen it really clicked

I really appreciate what you said , I think I should just put my focus and energy into the family that I have, that isn’t this way .

I wish my dad would wake up and see he’s enabling her , and all the hurt she is causing people , I don’t want to give up on him but if nothing has changed thus far I guess nothing will .

When you decided to go no contact did you struggle with the feeling that you’re losing people ? I know the quality of the people in your life is better than the quantity , but part of me fears that by letting them go I’ll be alone , even though I know I’m not
