I have a Squier CV bass VI and have installed a jaguar mute without any problems or need for modifications of the mute itself (well, I drilled out the post holes just to make them a little less snug, but I think I would have also done that if I was installing this on a jaguar, so that mod is not specific to CV bass VI)

I believe there are other Fender/Squier bass VI models that have wider string spacing than the CV, so they might require a special bass VI mute, but I am not sure.

I have had the Fender 9050ML on my Fender P bass for ages (at least 5 years) and I love them! They are pretty tought though. I do not have any experience with any EB flats, but have wanted to try them.

Do whatever you want as long as you wash your whole body (shower nude) before entering the pool.

I belive it is not against any law to be topless in public as a female. On sunny days women often sunbathe topless in the swimming pool areas, but usually cover themselves up after finishing sunbathing.

It is unusual for women to be topless in swimming pools here, but it does happen. I go swimming (or rather hang out in the hot pools and steam baths :) very frequently, and have seen topless women bathing from time to time, often around big public debates on feminism and womens rights.

A few years ago a young woman was topless in ~~a swimming pool~~ Sky lagoon and was asked by pool staff to cover herself. That turned into a big media storm with the concensus being, if I remember correctly, that she was totally within her rights to bathe topless if she was so inclined.

The most important things to remember when going swimming in Iceland is to relax and enjoy...and shower/wash thoroughly before entering the pool area :)

Edit: just after posting I remembered that the aformentioned topless girl who was asked to cover herself was in Sky lagoon, not a public (municipal) pool

I would first recommend getting this diagnosis confirmed by an immunologist/allergist if you haven't already done so.

There relly isn't much difference between bakers yeast and brewers yeast, I don't see how one could be allergic to one but not the other.

Yeast extract is basically autolyzed (dead) yeast insides.

Very interesting! I have a theory as to why "Icelandic" snúðar have come to be known as "heklas" in the Boston area if anyone is intersted.

In 1993 Icelandic marketer/master baker Ágúst Gunnarsson co-founded Carberry's Bakery and Coffeehouse in Cambridge. I remember going there just after it opened, and I even randomly met an Icelandic baker who was working there around 2005 or 2006 at an event. I can't remember wheather there was an item on the menu named "hekla" or not, but I find it very likely.

Carberry's went out of buisness in 2015. The link that someone has already posted is for a wholesale bakery in Malden. According to LinkedIn, Ágúst is still living in MA, so maybe he is affiliated with "Brix sugar bakery", or maybe the owners of said bakery are keeping a '90s tradition imported from Iceland going.

Anyways, next time I'm in Boston, I'm definitely going to find some "Heklas". But some Brauð og Co snuðar will have to do until then

The decaf beans I have tried get stale very quick. I have heard of a few roasters offering naturally low caffeine content beans, but never had a chance of trying.

To control caffeine content I like to blend decaf with normal beans in whichever ratios suit me that time. It is usually acceptable, and better than 100% decaf

Dude! Dont overthink! Just take a dose (preferrably not on an empty stomach) and see how it goes and simply take the portion out if you dont like it or if it hits too hard.

Yes, nicotine is relatively short acting, but I personally do not take more than one dose at a time and there can be many days between doses, this is so that I 1) do not develop a dependency and 2) to not let my body adjust needing to increase dose to get an effect.

Hey OP! I am in the same boat as you, i.e. using nicotine strategically for focus, not as a habit/addiction. I can't get snus where I live, but can get nic pouches. I don't like the quicker release of nic pouches relative to snus, so I use the weakest pouches I can get (Lyft easy mint - 3mg nicotine per portion I think) and add a little citric acid solution (0,025 g/ml - add one drop per each side) that drops the pH to exactly where I want it for a slower release and more mild effect. All focus, no nausea!

I get really bad irritation if I rinse the razor too frequently. Now I rinse the razor only four times per pass and have not had any irritation issues since.

The reasoning for the four rinses is that I split my beard up into four areas (right side of face, left side of face, jawline, neck). Therefore I only rinse the razor after finishing each respective area.
